Pestvanish Owl Decoy 15-inch Rotating-Head Bird & Squirrel Deterrent — Wind-Activated, Weatherproof

Pestvanish's lifelike owl decoy uses a wind-activated 360° rotating head and realistic coloring to deter birds and squirrels from balconies, gardens, and rooftops.

If pigeons, starlings, or squirrels are making a mess of your outdoor spaces, this molded owl decoy offers a non-toxic, maintenance-light way to discourage them. Finished with weatherproof paint and sized to mimic a real predator, the 15-inch Pestvanish owl combines motion, silhouette, and color to create believable presence without noise, chemicals, or complex installation.

How does the rotating head improve pest control?

The head turns with even light breezes thanks to an integrated wind panel, producing subtle, unpredictable movement that looks alive to small animals. Occasional motion helps prevent birds and rodents from getting used to a stationary object, increasing long-term effectiveness.

• 360° rotatable head reacts to slight winds for natural motion
• Rear wind vane amplifies turning with low airflow
• Movement discourages habituation compared with fixed decoys

Can this decoy withstand rain and sun outdoors?

The Pestvanish owl is painted by hand with water-resistant, UV-stable pigments to resist fading and surface wear. Its molded plastic body is low-porosity and sheds water, so it stands up to seasonal exposure on patios, railings, and garden posts.

• Hand-applied waterproof paint prevents color loss
• Durable plastic construction resists moisture and dirt
• Suitable for year-round outdoor placement on porches and roofs

Where and how should I position the owl for the best results?

Place the decoy in visible, elevated locations where birds or squirrels perch or feed—rooflines, balcony railings, garden stakes, or near fruit beds. For maximum impact, move the decoy occasionally or rotate its position so wildlife does not become accustomed to a single spot.

• Mount on porch railings, roof edges, garden stakes, or fence posts
• Use included mounting nails and clear wind board for stability
• Reposition every few days or change orientation to extend effectiveness

What are the product dimensions and simple setup steps?

The decoy measures about 15 inches (38 cm) tall and roughly 3.7 inches wide and long, close to a small real owl's profile. Setup is straightforward: attach the wind vane, fix the base or mount with supplied hardware, and place it where it will catch breeze and be clearly visible to pests.

• Size: 15 in (38 cm) high; 3.7 in (9.5 cm) wide and long
• Includes small bag with nails and transparent wind panel for installation
• Simple, tool-friendly mounting on many outdoor surfaces
