Panari fuel solenoid carburetor repair kit for Kohler CH/CV engines - replaces 12 757 33-S, restores clean shutoff

Panari 12 757 33-S fuel solenoid carburetor repair kit is a drop-in replacement kit that restores automatic fuel shutoff and consistent carburetor operation on compatible Kohler, John Deere and other small engines.

If your mower, garden tractor or compact engine is choking, flooding, or failing to shut off cleanly, a worn or faulty fuel solenoid in the carburetor is often the culprit. This Panari kit is designed as a compatible replacement for Kohler part numbers like 12 757 33-S, 12 757 09 and related OEM references used across a range of CH and CV series engines, plus some John Deere and Toro models. The kit includes the essential solenoid and mating components to bring fuel control back to specification so engines start and stop more reliably.

What exactly does this replacement kit fix?

It replaces the carburetor fuel shutoff solenoid and associated fittings that control fuel flow when the ignition is turned off. A functional solenoid prevents fuel from seeping into the carburetor bowl and causing hard starts or running-on after shutdown.

• Replaces Kohler 12 757 33-S, 12 757 09 and similar part numbers
• Stops carburetor flooding and reduces smoking when idle
• Restores clean engine shutoff and dependable starting

Which engines and models will accept this Panari part?

This kit is intended for a wide family of small engines and lawn-tractor carburetors. It's commonly used on Kohler CH11–CH16 and CV11–CV16 engines as well as some John Deere STX38 and LX255 machines, plus selected Toro and Troy-Bilt units that share compatible Walbro-style carburetors.

• Compatible with Kohler CH and CV series engines listed in product notes
• Replaces John Deere AM128242, AM128816 references on some tractors
• Works with Toro, Husqvarna and Troy-Bilt models that use the same solenoid style

How do I install the Panari fuel solenoid kit?

Installation generally involves removing the air cleaner, draining fuel or isolating the fuel line, then unbolting the old solenoid from the carburetor and swapping in the new unit with its gasket and fasteners. Basic hand tools and a clean workspace are sufficient for most mechanically inclined homeowners.

• Remove air cleaner and disconnect battery or ignition to prevent accidental starts
• Unbolt old solenoid, transfer or replace gasket and connectors supplied
• Reassemble, reconnect wiring and test engine start/stop behavior

Will this kit fit if my engine part number is different?

Part cross-references vary by production date and carburetor supplier. The kit matches common Kohler and OEM references, but visual comparison of the solenoid shape, mounting holes and connector style is the safest way to confirm compatibility.

• Check your engine’s model and part numbers before ordering
• Compare mounting hole spacing and electrical connector type
• Contact parts diagram or dealer if unsure about fitment
