OXO Outdoor Grilling Basting Brush — Heat-Resistant Silicone, Angled Head for Precise, Mess-Free Saucing

OXO Outdoor Grilling Basting Brush is a heat-resistant silicone brush with patented center-hole bristles designed to hold and release sauces cleanly for grilling and roasting.

Whether you’re glazing ribs on the barbecue or finishing a roast, this OXO Good Grips silicone basting brush is built to make saucing fast, precise and mess-free. The brush combines high-heat silicone bristles, a tapered outer edge for delicate foods, and an angled head that keeps the brush elevated off countertops. It’s dishwasher safe and engineered to resist odors, shredding and clumping so the tool stays reliable season after season.

How does this brush perform over high heat?

The silicone bristles are formulated to resist high temperatures so you can baste directly on the grill without melting or deforming. Because silicone doesn’t absorb oils or smells, cleanup is easier and the bristles stay intact under repeated exposure to heat.

• Heat-resistant silicone for safe use near hot grills and pans
• Non-melting construction preserves bristle shape
• Dishwasher-safe for hassle-free cleaning after grilling

What makes the patented bristle design work better for sauces?

OXO’s center-hole bristles trap and release liquids more efficiently than flat brushes, so you apply an even coat of sauce without dripping or overloading the food. The gap in each bristle holds basting liquids until you brush them onto the surface, giving you more control with each pass.

• Center-hole bristles capture and release sauces with precision
• Less splatter and waste versus standard brushes
• Consistent coverage for even browning and flavor distribution

Can I use this brush on delicate foods and small pieces?

The bristles taper to a thin outer edge so you can gently baste thin cuts, vegetables or pastries without tearing or smearing. The precise tip reaches narrow areas while the wider face covers larger surfaces quickly.

• Tapered outer bristles protect fragile foods from damage
• Angled head lets you access awkward spots easily
• Long handle keeps hands safely away from heat while basting

How does the design reduce mess and make cleaning easier?

An angled brush head lifts bristles off counters so sauces don’t smear surfaces between uses, and the silicone material resists odor and staining for cleaner storage. When you’re done cooking, the whole brush is safe to put in the dishwasher for quick cleanup.

• Angled head keeps bristles elevated to avoid countertop mess
• Silicone resists odors, staining, shredding and clumping
• Dishwasher-safe for easy post-cook cleanup

If you often baste meats, brush glazes on vegetables, or need a durable, easy-clean tool that tolerates high heat and delicate surfaces, this brush streamlines the job while reducing mess.
