Orbit Brass Hose Quick Connect Set — 3/4-inch Female & Male, Corrosion-Resistant Quick-Release

The Orbit Brass Hose Quick Connect Set is a two-piece brass coupling system that lets you attach or swap hose-end tools instantly without twisting.

Make everyday watering faster and more reliable by replacing threaded connections with a push‑in quick connect. This set contains a female coupler that screws onto a standard 3/4‑inch garden hose and a matching male adapter that fits onto wands, nozzles, or sprinklers. Built from heavy‑duty brass, the pair is made to resist corrosion and handle regular outdoor use while simplifying transitions between accessories.

How does the Orbit quick connect speed up garden tasks?

The quick connect eliminates the need to thread and unthread hose fittings, reducing fumbling and water loss during swaps. One push locks the tool in place and a quick press releases it, which is especially handy when you switch frequently between tasks.

• Attach the female coupler to a 3/4" hose in seconds.
• Push the male adapter into the coupler to lock—no twisting required.
• Quick release button ejects accessories without wrenching.
• Minimizes drip time and keeps workflow moving.

Will the brass construction withstand outdoor conditions?

Yes. Solid brass components are chosen for strength and long‑term weather resistance compared with plastic connectors. Brass tolerates outdoor temperature swings and contact with water better than many alloys, reducing the chance of cracking or rusting.

• Heavy‑duty brass resists corrosion for longer service life.
• Durable under typical garden water pressures.
• Less likely to break or deform than plastic couplers.
• Made for cold‑water irrigation applications outdoors.

How do I install and use the male and female pieces?

Installation is straightforward: wrap or thread seal the female connector onto the hose and screw the male adapter onto your watering tool. Once both ends are secure, push the male into the female to connect; press the release collar to disconnect.

• Female threads accept standard 3/4" garden hoses.
• Male adapter fits hose‑end wands, pistols, and nozzles.
• Use plumber’s tape for a leak‑free threaded seal if desired.
• Disconnect by pressing the coupling’s release sleeve—no tools required.

What should I expect in the box and what are the limits?

The set includes one female quick‑connect coupler and one male adapter; that’s all you need to create a quick‑change system between your hose and an accessory. Note that the product is specified for cold outdoor irrigation—do not use with hot water or non‑potable fluids.

• Includes: (1) female coupling and (1) male adapter.
• Designed for standard 3/4" outdoor garden hoses.
• Intended for cold water irrigation only—avoid hot water use.
• Suitable for common lawn and garden pressures, not specialized industrial systems.
