Orayafid 6W Solar Panel Charger for Rechargeable Battery Cameras — 5V Micro USB/USB-C, IP65 Weatherproof, 9.8ft Cable

Orayafid 6W Solar Panel is a compact, weatherproof solar charger designed to keep rechargeable battery security cameras topped up via Micro USB or USB-C.

If you want a simple, off-grid way to extend the runtime of battery-powered security cameras, this 6-watt solar charger from Orayafid is built specifically for that need. It uses high-efficiency shingled monocrystalline cells and a 9.8-foot cable to place the panel where sun exposure is best, while an IP65-rated housing resists rain and dust.

How does the Orayafid solar panel charge rechargeable camera batteries?

The panel converts sunlight to 5V DC power compatible with cameras that accept Micro USB or USB-C charging. It supplies trickle or maintenance current to recharge internal batteries and reduce the frequency of manual recharging.

• 6W shingled monocrystalline cells for higher conversion efficiency
• 5V output compatible with Micro USB and USB-C camera ports
• Continuous trickle charging helps maintain battery levels between heavier usage

Will this work outdoors year-round and in bad weather?

Yes — the unit is engineered for outdoor use with IP65 protection, guarding internal components from rain and airborne dust. It operates across a wide temperature range so it can withstand most seasonal conditions without corrosion or immediate performance loss.

• IP65-rated housing for rain and dust protection
• Operational range from roughly -5°F to 120°F for seasonal durability
• Sturdy materials that resist short-term exposure to the elements

How easy is installation and positioning for optimal charging?

Installation is designed to be straightforward: the package includes a 360° adjustable bracket and mounting kit so you can angle the panel toward peak sun. The nearly 10-foot cable gives flexibility to locate the panel apart from the camera, letting you place it on roofs, poles, or walls with minimal constraints.

• 360° adjustable bracket for precise sun-facing angle
• Approximately 9.8 ft (3 m) cable for flexible panel placement
• Comes with screws and a simple three-screw mounting method

What cameras are compatible and what should I avoid?

The Orayafid panel targets rechargeable, battery-powered cameras that charge through Micro USB or USB-C ports and accept a 5V input. It is not compatible with wired or plug-in-only cameras and does not work with certain closed ecosystems that use proprietary charging protocols.

• Compatible with many battery-powered cameras using Micro USB or USB-C 5V input
• Not compatible with Arlo, Arlo Pro, Ring, Ring Spotlight Cam, Google Nest, or any non-battery, plug-in cameras
• Includes both Micro USB and USB-C connectors in the box for broad compatibility

Who is this for: The Orayafid 6W solar panel is aimed at homeowners, installers, and DIYers who want a low-cost, low-maintenance solar charging solution to extend the runtime of battery-powered security cameras. If you need a weather-resistant charger with a long cable and flexible mounting that pairs with Micro USB or USB-C cameras, this panel provides a compact, efficient option without modifying your camera or wiring.
