Its extendable height and oversized hook spacing make it suitable for many hanging items, while the elegant curves add a decorative touch to patios, gardens, balconies and entryways.

How much weight and stability can I expect from this shepherd's hook?

This stand is engineered for steady support and balance. The reinforced base measures 14.8 x 12.6 inches and is weighted to 6.5 pounds, while the pole is a sturdy 1-inch thickness to resist bending under load.

• Maximum load capacity: up to 20 pounds safely supported
• Weighted base: 6.5 lb for improved stability on various surfaces
• Wide base footprint: 14.8 x 12.6 inches reduces tipping risk

Will larger feeders or oversized hanging plants fit the hook?

Yes—this shepherd's hook has a generous 9-inch gap between the hook and pole, providing room for bulky hook attachments and wide-mouthed hanging hardware. The spacious clearance accommodates most feeder hooks, larger hanging planters, wind chimes and decorative lanterns without crowding.

• 9-inch hook-to-pole spacing for larger hooks and pots
• Curved hook shape prevents slippage of rings and chains
• Compatible with common S-hooks, O-rings and hanging brackets

How adjustable and easy to assemble is the stand?

The niffgaff shepherd's hook telescopes from 28 inches up to 74 inches so you can tailor the height to your space and the item being hung. Assembly requires no extra tools and follows simple instructions, letting you set it up quickly on a deck, lawn or porch.

• Extendable height: 28" to 74" to suit various display needs
• Tool-free assembly with clear instructions included
• Sectional pole design for compact storage and transport

How does the finish hold up outdoors and what maintenance is needed?

The hook is finished with a durable powder coating that offers scratch and rust resistance, helping it retain its appearance through changing weather. Occasional cleaning and a quick touch-up if scratched will keep the finish looking new for longer.

• Powder-coated surface resists rust and everyday wear
• Wipe clean with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris
• Inspect periodically for chips and touch up as needed
