MUMTOP 36-Inch Hummingbird Rain Gauge for Outdoor Lawn & Garden — Solar LED, Freeze-Proof Tube

The MUMTOP 36 Inch Hummingbird Rain Gauge is a tall, solar-lit outdoor gauge that measures rainfall clearly without crouching, designed for gardens, lawns and yards.

Keep track of how much rain your plants receive with a weatherproof gauge that combines clear measurements, a durable freeze-proof tube, and an integrated solar LED for nighttime visibility. At 36 inches tall, this gauge sits above most garden beds and grasses so you can read it easily from a window or standing position. Built from weather-resistant materials and fitted with a sturdy stake, it’s made to stay put through wind and wet conditions.

How does the height make it easier to read?

The full 36-inch length raises the measuring tube above low plants and turf, so you don’t need to bend or kneel. Large black numerals and metal backing enhance contrast so the collected water appears blue and the readings are quick to interpret.

• 36-inch overall height positions gauge above most garden growth
• Large bold black font for high-contrast readings from a distance
• Rear metal strip makes water appear blue for fast visibility
• Easy viewable from a window or while standing on the lawn

What makes this rain gauge durable for outdoor use?

The measuring tube is made from a robust plastic designed to resist cracking in freezing conditions, while the stake and components are weather-resistant for repeated outdoor exposure. The construction balances visibility with longevity so you can use it season after season.

• Freeze-proof 7-inch diameter plastic tube resists cracking
• Weather-resistant stake provides secure anchoring in soil
• Sturdy materials withstand routine outdoor wear and elements
• Design avoids brittle failure common with thinner tubes

How does the solar LED feature help in low light?

An integrated solar LED charges during daylight and automatically lights at dusk, improving visibility after sunset and during overcast conditions. The light runs on a charging cycle so no external wiring or batteries are needed for nightly illumination after a full charge.

• Solar-powered LED automatically on at dusk and off at dawn
• Charges in daylight—no wiring or manual charging required
• Adds visibility for evening checks or low-light measurements
• Discreet lighting preserves garden aesthetics while functional

How simple is installation and reading for everyday use?

Setup is straightforward: push the stake into soil or a soft surface and insert the measuring tube. The clear markings and rear metal strip combine to give an easy-to-read blue contrast so you can note rainfall quickly and accurately.

• Push-in stake keeps installation tool-free and fast
• Large markings and contrast improve read speed and accuracy
• Tube holds larger volumes—useful after heavy storms
• Low-maintenance: wipe clean and reposition if needed

Who is this for: Gardeners, lawn-care enthusiasts, hobby meteorologists and homeowners who want a durable, easy-to-read rain gauge that’s visible from a distance and at night. It’s ideal for anyone who needs reliable rainfall data without frequent bending or complex setup, and for those who prefer a low-maintenance solar-lit instrument in their yard or garden.
