Morvat Garden Hose Protector Brass Coiled-Spring Connector 2-Pack — 3/4" NH Thread, Kink & Strain Relief with Washers & Tape

When a hose meets a stubborn faucet or tight corner, repeated bending at the connection causes kinks, leaks, and early wear. The Morvat Hose Protector is a compact brass adapter with a heavy-duty coiled spring that slips over the hose end and the fitting to stabilize the joint. This 2-pack includes four rubber washers and Teflon tape so you can install both protectors right away and get a watertight seal without tools.

How does this protector stop kinks and strain where the hose meets the faucet?

The spring wraps around the hose opening and absorbs bending force so the soft hose material does not crease at the connection. Solid brass threaded fittings create a sturdy anchor point that keeps the hose aligned with the valve, minimizing motion and stress at the coupling.

• Coiled steel spring supports the hose at the weakest point.
• Brass 3/4" NH threaded fittings form a durable, corrosion-resistant joint.
• Prevents sharp bends that cause pinched flow and premature cracking.
• Includes washers and tape for a leak-resistant installation.

Will these fit my faucet, hose, or outdoor attachment?

Yes — the connectors use standard US NH 3/4" threads, which match most common garden faucets, hoses, and hose-end accessories. They attach quickly by hand and are compatible with valves, spigots, RV connections, and many threaded adapters.

• US standard NH 3/4" threads for broad compatibility.
• Works with hose ends, outdoor spigots, RV hookups, and sprinkler fittings.
• No special tools required; hand-tighten for a secure fit.
• Four rubber washers and Teflon tape included for sealing irregular threads.

How tough is the protector against weather and water pressure?

The Morvat protector combines a heavy-duty coiled spring with solid brass fittings to withstand outdoor exposure and routine water pressure. The materials resist rust and corrosion, so the assembly stays functional through wet, cold, and sunny conditions without cracking or seizing.

• Durable coiled metal spring resists deformation under load.
• Solid brass fittings reduce corrosion and maintain sealing surfaces.
• Designed for routine outdoor water pressure and seasonal use.
• Reinforces hose life, reducing replacements over time.

How easy is installation and maintenance?

Installation is straightforward: fit the washer, thread the brass connector to the faucet or hose, and hand-tighten. Periodic checks for washer condition and thread tightness are recommended; replace washers if they compress or leak.

• Includes four rubber washers and Teflon tape for immediate installation.
• No tools required — hand-tighten to create a watertight seal.
• Inspect washers yearly; replace if brittle or flattened.
• Clean threads occasionally to prevent grit buildup and ensure smooth sealing.

Who is this for: The Morvat Hose Protector 2-pack is ideal for homeowners, gardeners, RV owners, and anyone who frequently connects and disconnects garden hoses. It’s useful for car washing, lawn watering, campsite hookups, and outdoor chores where hose movement at the faucet causes wear. If you want a low-cost way to reduce leaks, protect hose ends from kinking, and extend the usable life of your hoses and fittings, this protector set is a practical addition to your outdoor toolkit.
