MOOKEERF 10AWG Solar Extension Cable 10FT (Red/Black) — IP68 Waterproof Connectors, Flame‑Retardant Jacket

MOOKEERF 10AWG 10FT solar extension cable is a heavy-gauge, double-insulated PV cable with IP68 male and female quick-lock connectors designed to extend and protect solar arrays on RVs, boats, homes, and off-grid systems.

This pair of 10-foot cables (one red, one black) uses 84-strand tinned copper conductors inside XLPE insulation and an outer flame-retardant jacket to reduce power loss, resist heat and abrasion, and maintain a secure weatherproof connection between panels, charge controllers, or inverters. The cables are rated to 1800V DC and engineered for outdoor photovoltaic use, delivering reliable current transfer while simplifying installation with standard solar connectors.

How does this cable reduce power loss in solar setups?

The 10AWG gauge and 84-strand tinned copper conductor lower resistance compared with smaller wires, maintaining stronger current flow over the 10-foot span. Tinning improves corrosion resistance in outdoor, marine, or coastal environments so conductivity stays consistent over time.

• 10AWG diameter minimizes voltage drop for common panel-to-controller distances
• 84 tin-plated copper strands enhance flexibility and long-term conductivity
• Rated for up to 1800V DC for compatibility with many PV arrays

Are the connectors and jacket safe for outdoor and marine use?

Yes—each cable terminates with an IP68-rated male or female quick-lock solar connector that seals out water and dust. The outer sleeve is flame-retardant and the XLPE insulation keeps the conductor protected across wide temperature ranges.

• IP68 connectors provide reliable watertight sealing for outdoors and wet conditions
• Flame-retardant outer jacket resists abrasion and high temperatures up to 392°F (200°C)
• XLPE insulation performs from -40°F to 248°F (-40°C to 120°C) for seasonal extremes

How easy is it to install or modify these extension cables?

The flexible 10AWG construction and standard solar connectors make these cables straightforward to route, cut, or solder when customizing a system. Quick-lock connectors let you plug panels into existing wiring without special tools; the cable is also simple to secure with clamps or cable ties during installation.

• Flexible strand design simplifies bends around panels, rails, or boat fittings
• Standard male/female solar connectors allow fast, tool-free connections
• Can be trimmed and soldered if custom lengths or splices are needed

What components and protections are included with the product?

You receive one red and one black 10-foot 10AWG cable, each terminated with waterproof male and female connectors. The double-insulated structure provides an inner conductor shielded by XLPE insulation and a fire-resistant outer jacket for added safety.

• Pack includes two 10FT 10AWG cables: one black, one red, with matched connectors
• Inner tinned copper conductor, XLPE insulation, and flame-retardant outer jacket
• Manufacturer support offered for setup concerns or product issues

Who is this for? Installers, DIY solar hobbyists, RV and boat owners, and homeowners upgrading or extending photovoltaic wiring will find these MOOKEERF extension cables useful. They suit anyone needing a reliable, weatherproof 10AWG connection for mid-length runs between panels, charge controllers, combiner boxes, or inverters—especially where flexibility, corrosion resistance, and high-temperature tolerance matter.
