MENSI 3/8" 90° Brass Elbow Adapter — 3/8" Female Swivel Flare x 3/8" Male Flare, Corrosion-Resistant Right-Angle Connector

MENSI's 90-degree 3/8" female swivel flare to 3/8" male flare brass elbow is a durable propane and natural gas adapter that creates a leak-resistant right-angle connection for grills, RV heaters, and catalytic appliances.

If you need a compact, reliable elbow to reroute a gas line without kinking or stretching hoses, this brass coupling converts a straight 3/8" male flare into a tight 90° connection while allowing a full swivel on the female side for easy alignment. Built from solid brass and finished to resist corrosion, the fitting is commonly used as a replacement or upgrade for Camp/Camco and Olympian Wave heater lines, Champion equipment, and many BBQ gas appliances with 3/8" flare threads.

How does the swivel nut improve installation?

The 360° swivel nut on the 3/8" female flare eliminates the need to twist hoses or tools during assembly, reducing strain and the risk of cross-threading. It makes positioning the male flare simple and helps achieve a secure seal with less effort.

• Full rotation female swivel for precise alignment
• Reduces torque on hose fittings and connections
• Makes tight spaces easier to access

Will this fitting work with my Olympian or Camco heater?

This elbow is sized for 3/8" flare connections, the common thread used on Olympian Wave catalytic heaters and many Camco-compatible lines. If your appliance lists 3/8" male or female flare fittings, this adapter will connect directly; always confirm thread type before purchase.

• Compatible with devices using 3/8" male flare threads
• Common fit for Olympian Wave 3/6/8 series and similar heaters
• Useful as a replacement for worn or leaking factory elbows

Is brass the right material for gas fittings?

Solid brass is a standard for fuel fittings because it resists rust and handles the temperature ranges typical of propane and natural gas systems. Brass also machines well for accurate flare seating, which helps maintain leak-free joints when installed correctly.

• Corrosion-resistant for long-term outdoor use
• Durable under repeated assembly and disassembly
• Stable under temperature changes common to grills and heaters

How do I inspect and maintain this elbow to prevent leaks?

Regularly check flare seats and swivel threads for nicks, debris, or wear before reassembly. Use soapy water to test connections after installation; bubbles indicate a leak that needs attention. Replace the fitting if threads or the flare surfaces are damaged.

• Wipe mating surfaces clean before tightening
• Hand-start threads, then snug with proper tools—avoid over-tightening
• Perform a leak test with a non-corrosive solution after installation

Who is this for: MENSI's 90° 3/8" flare elbow is designed for DIYers, RV owners, grill technicians, and HVAC hobbyists who need a compact, dependable right-angle gas connection. It fits tasks like rerouting supply lines behind cabinetry, replacing corroded factory elbows on heaters, or adapting a propane hose for tight installations. If your equipment specifies 3/8" flare fittings and you want a solid-brass, swivel-enabled elbow to simplify alignment and improve longevity, this coupling is a practical, low-complexity upgrade.
