MARASTAR Turf Traction 18x8.50-8 Tire for Lawn Mowers & Golf Carts — 4-Ply Tubeless, Turf-Friendly Traction

MARASTAR Turf Traction 18x8.50-8 is a tubeless, 4-ply replacement tire that blends TurfMaster shoulder stability with a central Turf Lug for improved traction on riding mowers and golf carts.

Designed as a direct replacement for rear wheels on riding lawn mowers and many golf carts, this 18x8.50-8 tire balances surface protection with grip. The dual-pattern design keeps turf damage to a minimum while providing the bite needed for slopes, wet grass, or light snow. Sold as the tire only (no rim or tube), it fits vehicles specified for 18x8.50-8 tires — always verify your current sidewall dimensions before purchasing.

How does this tire protect delicate lawns while giving better traction?

The TurfMaster shoulder tread distributes weight and reduces surface scuffing, while the Turf Lug center channels improve forward bite. Together they limit rutting and compaction compared with aggressive off-road patterns, yet still grip uneven or slippery terrain.

• TurfMaster shoulder for wide contact and gentle roll
• Central Turf Lug for forward traction and braking control
• 4-ply construction to balance load capacity with turf friendliness

Is this tire strong enough for heavy mowing and occasional cart loads?

With a 4-ply rating and a load capacity of up to 750 lb, this tire is built for regular use on rear mower positions and golf cart applications. It’s not intended for highway speeds; it’s engineered for yard and off-road utility instead.

• 4-ply rated casing for everyday durability
• 750 lb load capacity per tire under recommended conditions
• Not rated for highway speed or sustained high-speed towing

How easy is installation and what should I check before buying?

Installation is straightforward for anyone familiar with tubeless tires — mount on a compatible rim and balance if needed. Because this listing is for the tire only, confirm your rim size and current tire sidewall readout match 18x8.50-8 before ordering to avoid fitment issues.

• Tire-only item: needs compatible 8-inch rim
• Tubeless pneumatic design — no tube required when mounted correctly
• Verify existing tire sidewall reads 18x8.50-8 before purchase

What terrain and conditions is this tire best suited for?

This tire performs well on residential lawns, golf courses, light landscaping sites and utility tasks around the property. It handles wet grass, mild slopes, and light snow better than smooth turf tires while still minimizing damage to sod and turf.

• Ideal for lawns, fairways, and landscaped areas
• Provides improved grip on wet or uneven surfaces
• Not intended for heavy mud, deep snow, or paved high-speed travel
