Lswteiz 3/4" PVC Female Union Coupling 6-Pack — FNPT Threaded, EPDM O‑Ring, Schedule 40

Lswteiz 3/4" PVC female union coupling is a two-piece FNPT threaded adapter with an EPDM O‑ring that lets you join and separate Schedule 40 PVC lines quickly and leak-resistantly.

This six‑piece pack of 3/4 inch female union couplings is built from high‑impact, corrosion‑resistant PVC and includes factory‑installed EPDM O‑rings. Designed for standard SCH40 piping and rated to meet ASTM D2466/D1784 and NSF criteria, these unions are meant for sprinkler lines, irrigation heads, pool returns, and other cold‑water plumbing runs where you want a detachable, threaded connection instead of glue‑in couplings.

How do these unions make pipe work easier?

The two‑piece union design allows you to join two threaded male fittings or pipes without glue, making disassembly for maintenance or winterization straightforward. You simply hand‑thread both female halves onto male threads, compress the built‑in EPDM O‑ring, and tighten the union nut to form a seal.

• FNPT female threads on both ends for compatibility with MNPT male fittings.
• Hand or wrench tighten to compress EPDM O‑ring for a reliable seal.
• Reusable—no solvent cement required for repeated servicing.

Will these fittings hold up outdoors and in irrigation systems?

Yes—constructed from durable PVC formulated for Schedule 40 applications, these unions resist frost, corrosion, and UV exposure typical in outdoor irrigation use. The EPDM O‑ring provides water and oil resistance suitable for cold water systems and many outdoor environments.

• High‑impact PVC resists cracking and weather exposure.
• Built‑in EPDM O‑ring for long‑lasting sealing performance.
• Suitable for underground sprinkler, garden irrigation, and pool returns.

What installation steps and sealants are recommended?

Threaded connections should use Teflon tape or PTFE pipe sealant on the male threads to prevent leaks; the union’s O‑ring then provides a secondary compression seal. Avoid over‑tightening plastic threads—tighten snugly with a wrench only if needed and check for leaks when system pressure is applied.

• Wrap 3–5 layers of PTFE tape clockwise on male threads before assembly.
• Hand‑start threads to avoid cross‑threading, then finish with a wrench if necessary.
• Test system at operating pressure and re‑tighten slightly if minor leaks appear.

Are these unions compatible with other common plumbing standards?

These Lswteiz unions are FNPT female threaded and intended to mate with standard MNPT male PVC, brass, or metal fittings. They meet ASTM D2466/D1784 material standards and comply with NSF requirements for cold water, making them compatible with many residential and commercial plumbing assemblies.

• Works with 3/4" male NPT plumbing threads (PVC, brass, or metal).
• Manufactured to Schedule 40 PVC dimensions and tolerances.
• Meets ASTM and NSF guidelines for cold‑water applications.

Who is this for: Installers, landscapers, DIY homeowners, and pool technicians who need a dependable, serviceable threaded connection for 3/4" PVC systems will benefit from this six‑pack. It’s ideal when you want removable joints for winterizing, repairs, or equipment swaps without cutting or solvent‑welding pipe.
