Lichtund 16-inch Soil Probe Core Sampler with T-Handle and Ejector, Stainless Steel + 2 Sample Bags

The Lichtund 16-inch soil probe is a stainless-steel T-handle core sampler with an ejector rod and two reusable sample bags for fast, clean soil collection.

Whether you are checking pH, moisture, or texture, the Lichtund soil probe is designed to make taking reliable soil cores straightforward and repeatable. Built from corrosion-resistant stainless steel with a T-shaped handle and a push-eject rod, this tool reduces hand strain while protecting edges with safety plugs. It ships with two clear sample bags so you can transport visible cores for lab testing or home inspection.

How does the T-handle and ejector improve sampling?

The T-handle gives you a solid, two-handed grip for steady insertion and vertical extraction, which keeps the sample intact. The ejector rod pushes the core out cleanly so you don't have to pry or damage the sample, saving time and preserving soil structure for more accurate tests.

• Ergonomic T-shaped handle for controlled force and reduced wrist twist
• Inner ejector rod removes cores without cutting or crushing
• Safety plugs on tube edges protect hands and prevent snags

What soils and tasks is this probe best suited for?

This 16-inch core sampler works best in soft, non-compacted, non-dry soils—typical garden beds, lawns, and small-scale agricultural plots. It’s intended for collecting representative cores to assess texture, moisture, and to prepare samples for pH or nutrient lab testing.

• Ideal for home gardens, lawns, nursery beds, and light farm plots
• Not recommended for rock-filled, heavily compacted, or bone-dry ground
• Collects cores suitable for lab analysis or on-site checks

How do I use and maintain the stainless-steel core sampler?

To sample, push the tube vertically into the soil while rotating slightly to form the core. Pull straight up, then use the ejector rod to push the core into a provided bag. Rinse and dry the stainless steel after use to prevent dirt buildup and extend lifespan.

• Insert, rotate, and extract vertically to retain core integrity
• Push ejector rod to deposit the core into the sample bag
• Clean with water and dry; store in a dry place to avoid surface stains

What do the included sample bags offer for lab or home testing?

The kit includes two reusable transparent sample bags sized to hold a single core each, allowing quick visual inspection of layers and texture before testing. The clear panel simplifies labeling and transport to a testing lab without direct contact that could contaminate the sample.

• Two transparent, resealable bags for safe transport and observation
• Visible soil profile helps confirm sample depth and composition
• Reusable design reduces waste between sampling sessions

Who is this for: Gardeners, turf managers, small-scale farmers, and hobby horticulturists who need a dependable, portable tool to collect intact soil cores for pH, nutrient, or texture analysis. If you manage lawns, vegetable beds, or greenhouse plants and want repeatable samples without heavy machinery, the Lichtund 16-inch probe provides a practical, rust-resistant solution.
