Lettry AC Condenser Misting System Evaporative Cooling Kit w/ Water Filter & Pipe Cutter, Brass Nozzles

Lettry's Air Conditioner Evaporative Cooling Kit is a do-it-yourself condenser misting system that lowers outdoor AC temperatures, eases compressor load, and reduces energy use without soaking the surrounding area.

Hot, sun-baked condensers work harder and draw more electricity; this kit attaches to standard outdoor residential units and uses ultra-fine misting, a built-in anti-clog filter, and leak-proof fittings to cool the condenser coil by natural evaporation. The system is engineered for simple DIY setup—pipe cutter included—and offers adjustable spray patterns so you can match cooling to ambient conditions. It also adapts to other outdoor cooling or irrigation needs like patios, pools, or plant areas.

How does the misting kit improve air conditioner performance?

The mist reduces condenser surface temperature by promoting evaporation over the coil, which helps the compressor run with less stress. That results in shorter cycles, steadier indoor temperatures, and potential energy savings during hot periods.

• Direct evaporative cooling applied to condenser fins to lower operating temperature.
• Finer mist minimizes wetting and prevents pooling around the unit.
• Less compressor runtime can translate into reduced electricity consumption.

What makes the nozzles and filter reliable for long-term use?

The kit includes brass 360° adjustable nozzles that form a uniform, ultra-fine mist and a high-density internal water filter that traps sediment and limescale. Together they prevent clogging and maintain consistent spray performance season after season.

• Brass nozzles resist corrosion and rotate for precise direction.
• Built-in filter blocks particles that can otherwise cause nozzle blockages.
• Leak-proof fittings and flexible tubing ensure a tight, water-safe connection.

How easy is installation, and what tools are required?

Designed for homeowners, the kit ships with a dedicated pipe cutter and a 3/4-inch faucet adapter for a straightforward, mostly tool-free setup. Clear connections and flexible tubing let you route the system around the condenser without professional plumbing work.

• Included pipe cutter sizes tubing for a snug fit—no extra tools needed.
• 3/4-inch faucet adapter fits standard outdoor spigots for quick water hookup.
• Flexible tubing and clips make mounting and positioning simple and reversible.

Can I adjust the cooling strength or use the kit elsewhere?

Yes—two spray modes let you choose between single-sided output for mild relief and double-sided for stronger cooling during extreme heat. The modular design also makes the system useful for light irrigation and outdoor cooling beyond AC condensers.

• Single-sided mode conserves water while delivering targeted cooling.
• Double-sided mode increases mist density for maximal temperature reduction.
• Repurposable for patios, poolside shade, garden rows, or nursery benches.

Who is this for: homeowners with sun-exposed outdoor condensers, renters and DIYers seeking cost‑effective cooling upgrades, and anyone who wants a portable misting solution for patios, pools, or light irrigation. Ideal for warm climates and periods of high ambient temperature when condenser efficiency drops—this kit offers an affordable, easy-to-install option to improve comfort and lower AC workload without rewiring or major modifications.
