KSK Armored Solar Power Cord for Trail Cameras 5.5x2.1mm Male-to-Male, 39in Two-Pack — UV & Chew-Resistant

The KSK armored solar power cord is a 39-inch, 5.5 x 2.1mm male-to-male DC cable built for outdoor trail cameras and solar panels, sold as a two-pack.

Whether you want a tidy connection between a solar panel and a trail camera or a weatherproof extension for remote power setups, this armored DC cable keeps the link simple and robust. It combines a standardized 5.5mm x 2.1mm male DC plug on both ends with a durable, chew-resistant outer jacket and UV-resistant materials designed for long-term outdoor exposure.

How does this cable connect a solar panel to a trail camera?

The cable uses two identical 5.5 x 2.1mm male DC plugs so it can bridge devices with matching female sockets. That makes it ideal for cameras and solar panels that accept the common 5.5/2.1 connector without adapters. Use the cable to extend an existing power lead or to route power around obstacles.

• Standard 5.5mm x 2.1mm male DC plugs on both ends
• 39-inch (about 1 meter) length for flexible placement
• Male-to-male layout works as an extension or direct link

Will this cable survive outdoor exposure and pests?

The KSK cable features an armored exterior intended to resist chewing and abrasion, plus materials formulated to withstand sunlight and moisture. While no cable is completely invulnerable to determined wildlife or extreme conditions, the design significantly reduces common failure points on outdoor runs.

• Armored outer jacket for chew and abrasion resistance
• UV-resistant insulation to slow sun degradation
• Water-resistant construction for reliable outdoor use

Is the length and connector size compatible with my equipment?

At 39 inches (1 meter), this cord is a practical length for short extensions and tidy routing between panels and cameras. The 5.5 x 2.1mm plug is a widely used DC size; confirm your camera and solar panel have matching female jacks before purchasing. If you need a longer run, use this as a mid-span connector or look for longer armored cables.

• 39 inches (1 meter) provides short to medium reach
• 5.5 x 2.1mm is a common DC connector size — check device compatibility
• Sold in a convenient two-pack for dual setups or backups

How do I maintain and install the cable for best longevity?

Route the cable away from ground-level paths when possible and secure it with UV-rated ties or clips to reduce movement and wear. Periodically inspect connections and the jacket for damage; replace any cable showing heavy cuts or exposed conductors. For permanently exposed runs, add additional protection such as conduit or conduit tape at high-wear points.

• Use UV-rated cable ties or clips to secure runs
• Inspect periodically for cuts, abrasions, or moisture ingress
• Consider conduit at ground-level or high-traffic areas

Who is this for? Installers, wildlife camera users, off-grid hobbyists, and anyone needing a short, rugged DC link between a solar panel and a device with a 5.5 x 2.1mm female jack. The two-pack format suits dual-camera systems or a camera plus spare, and the reinforced jacket is targeted at outdoor environments where standard cables fail sooner.
