KILOCOCO Outdoor Welcome Mat 18x30 PVC Hello Doormat with Raised Scraper Surface & Non-Slip Backing

KILOCOCO's 18" x 30" outdoor welcome mat is a low-profile PVC doormat designed to scrape dirt, shed moisture, and sit securely at your entry without absorbing water.

This mat combines practical materials and a textured "hello" surface to keep outside debris from tracking indoors. Built from PVC with a raised polyethylene face and a slip-resistant rubber backing, it resists fading and is easy to shake, sweep, or hose clean. The design emphasizes low clearance so most doors glide over it, making it an unobtrusive but effective solution for busy thresholds, patios, and covered porches.

How does this mat keep dirt and sand out of my home?

The embossed surface and raised polyethylene fibers trap grit and particles beneath shoe soles so less gets carried inside. The texture encourages a gentle scrubbing action when you rub your shoes across the mat, collecting mud, sand, and snow in the grooves instead of on your floors.

• Raised polyethylene fabric scrapes and holds debris.
• Embossed "hello" pattern adds traction and capture points.
• Low profile helps users rub shoes easily without twisting ankles.
• Ideal for front doors, patios, and high-traffic entrances.

Is the mat waterproof and how do I clean it?

The PVC construction itself does not absorb water, so surface moisture beads and drains away rather than soaking in. For routine upkeep, simply shake, sweep, or vacuum; for a deeper refresh you can hose it down and allow it to air dry. Avoid leaving pooled water on the mat in heavy rain—drain or move it to prevent standing water at uncovered outdoor locations.

• PVC face resists water absorption and dries quickly.
• Hose-cleanable for fast, thorough washing.
• Shake or sweep to remove loose dirt and debris.
• Tip: drain or relocate during heavy rain to avoid pooling.

Will this mat slide or interfere with my door?

The mat features a non-slip rubber backing to keep it anchored on many floor types while maintaining a low profile that fits under most doors. The backing reduces shifting underfoot and minimizes curling at edges, helping prevent trips and ensuring the mat stays functional in busy entryways.

• Non-slip rubber backing grips tile, wood, and concrete.
• Low-profile thickness allows smooth door clearance.
• Stiff enough to resist curling in normal indoor/outdoor use.
• Works well on porches, garages, and laundry rooms.

How long will it keep its color and shape outdoors?

The mat is made to be fade resistant under typical conditions, keeping its vibrant appearance with routine care and occasional cleaning. However, prolonged direct sunlight and extreme heat can soften the backing—avoid continuous high-temperature exposure to preserve the mat's form and grip. If the mat arrives with creases, laying it flat for a few days lets the material relax back to shape.

• Fade-resistant pigments maintain color with regular cleaning.
• Avoid extended direct sun and high heat to protect the backing.
• Creases smooth out naturally when the mat lies flat for days.
• Durable construction for frequent, high-traffic use.
