Kensizer 13-inch T8 Bug Zapper Replacement Tubes 2-Pack (10W Each) UVA Glass, 360° Dispersion

Kensizer replacement 13-inch T8 fluorescent bug zapper tubes (2-pack, 10W each) are energy-efficient UVA light tubes designed to attract and eliminate flying insects inside compatible electric zapper units.

These Kensizer tubes are designed as direct replacements for T8 fluorescent insect traps, offering a balance of bright UVA output and long service life. Each 10-watt glass tube emits a concentrated spectrum that improves insect attraction compared with many plastic LED alternatives. The set includes two tubes, engineered for 360° light dispersion and reliable electrical contact via premium copper connectors.

How do these tubes improve insect attraction compared with LED alternatives?

Fluorescent glass tubes typically produce a broader and stronger UVA output that many flying insects find more attractive than narrow-band LEDs. Kensizer emphasizes UVA energy production and even light distribution to increase lure effectiveness across the unit's trapping surface.

• Glass fluorescent construction yields higher UVA emission than typical plastic LED tubes.
• 360° radial light distribution helps attract insects from multiple angles.
• Each tube rated at 10W balances brightness with energy efficiency.

Are these replacements easy to install and electrically reliable?

Yes — the tubes fit standard T8 sockets and use premium copper electric inserting needles to ensure consistent conductivity. Proper seating in the zapper’s sockets will give reliable operation and reduce flicker or poor contact issues common with lower-quality replacements.

• Standard T8 size (13-inch) fits most compatible bug zapper units.
• Premium copper connectors improve conductivity and reduce electrical resistance.
• Sold as a 2-pack so both tubes can be replaced at once for balanced performance.

What should I expect for lifespan and energy usage?

Each Kensizer tube is rated for long service life and designed to be energy conscious at 10 watts per tube. Actual lifespan varies with usage and environmental factors, but the manufacturer provides support if a tube fails to reach expected runtime thresholds within the initial months of use.

• 10W power per tube for lower energy draw than higher-wattage fluorescent options.
• Glass construction intended for longer lifetime compared with many plastic alternatives.
• Manufacturer customer support available if tube life is shorter than expected.

Will these tubes work in my existing indoor zapper unit?

They are intended for compatible indoor electric insect traps that accept 13-inch T8 fluorescent tubes. Confirm your unit’s socket type, physical length, and wattage rating before purchasing to ensure a proper fit and safe operation.

• Confirm the zapper accepts T8 13" fluorescent tubes and 10W rating.
• Not all LED-based fixtures accept fluorescent replacements; check compatibility first.
• Replace both tubes simultaneously for uniform light output and performance.

Who is this for: These Kensizer replacement tubes suit homeowners, property managers, and businesses that use fluorescent T8 electric insect traps and want a cost-conscious swap-in that emphasizes UVA attraction, even 360° light spread, and reliable electrical contact. They are ideal when you need a straightforward, energy-aware replacement for aging or dimming tubes to restore your trap’s effectiveness.
