Kanayu 15ft Generator Adapter Cord TT-30P to L14-30R — 10 AWG Copper, 30A 250V Outdoor Safety

The Kanayu 15ft TT-30P to L14-30R adapter cord safely converts a generator's TT-30 outlet to an L14-30R lock-style receptacle for 30A, 250V, up to 3750W transfer use.

When your portable generator only offers a TT-30 (RV) outlet but your transfer switch or inlet on the house requires an L14-30 plug, this 15-foot adapter provides a simple, durable bridge. Built with 10 AWG copper conductors, a molded TT-30P plug and a locking L14-30R inlet, the cable is designed for frequent outdoor use with flame-retardant, UV-resistant materials and a bright yellow jacket for visibility.

How does this adapter let my generator feed a home transfer switch?

It converts the three-prong TT-30 generator output to the four-prong L14-30R inlet used by many transfer switches or manual inlet boxes. The L14-30R is a twist-lock style female connector that mates securely with corresponding plugs, while the TT-30P provides the generator-side interface.

• Converts TT-30P (male) to L14-30R (lock female) safely and securely.
• Supports up to 30 amps and 250 volts, maxing near 3750 watts.
• 15-foot length offers convenient placement between generator and inlet.

Is this cable durable and safe for outdoor generator use?

Yes — the cord uses 100% pure copper conductors and 10 AWG wiring to handle sustained current. The assembly includes a molded plug, strain relief at the connector, flame-retardant materials and a waterproof outer jacket rated for outdoor exposure.

• Molded TT-30P plug and reinforced strain relief reduce wear and accidental disconnection.
• UV-resistant, waterproof jacket helps prevent cracking and surface oxidation.
• Bright yellow jacket improves visibility in low-light or cluttered work areas.

Will this adapter fit my RV or generator configuration?

The TT-30P end fits generators or RV outlets that use the standard NEMA TT-30 series (common on many portable units and RV shore power). The L14-30R female connector accepts standard L14-30 plugs used by transfer switch male cords and inlet boxes.

• TT-30P compatible with NEMA TT-30R outlets on generators and RVs.
• L14-30R female locks with L14-30 male plugs for secure connections.
• Check your generator and inlet plug types before purchase to confirm compatibility.

How easy is it to use and maintain this adapter?

The adapter arrives fully assembled and ready to plug in, no wiring required. Routine care is simple: keep contacts clean and dry, coil the cord without tight kinks, and store in a cool, dry place when not in use to extend service life.

• Plug-and-play design — no installation or assembly needed.
• Maintain by wiping contacts and avoiding sharp bends in the 15ft cable.
• Bright color helps locate the cord and reduces tripping or accidental damage.

Who is this for: The Kanayu 15ft TT-30P to L14-30R adapter cord is aimed at homeowners, RV owners, and contractors who need a reliable, visible, and weather-resistant transition from a TT-30 generator outlet to a twist-lock L14-30 inlet or transfer switch. It’s especially useful when a generator lacks a direct L14-30 receptacle but must supply a home or inlet box at up to 30 amps.
