Jardineer Bow Rake - Heavy-Duty 59in Long-Handle Garden Rake with 18 Steel Tines, 16in Head for Soil Leveling & Gravel

The Jardineer Bow Rake is a heavy-duty, 59-inch long-handle metal rake with an 18-tine, 16-inch wide head designed for leveling soil, spreading gravel, and general yard cleanup.

This professional-grade bow rake combines a long steel handle with an 18-tine, carbon-steel head to tackle compacted soil, gravel, mulch and leaves. Built with thicker 4mm tines, a triple-welded head, and an anti-rust finish, it’s intended for repeated use in landscaping, garden prep, and campsite maintenance. The dual-sided tine lengths give you options for prying stones or finishing a smooth surface without switching tools.

How does this rake break up compacted soil and clay?

The Jardineer rake’s 18 hardened steel tines penetrate dense ground and clay to fracture clods and loosen soil for planting or leveling. Its 4mm-thick tines resist bending so you can apply more force without damaging the head.

• 18 sharp, 2.5-inch tines for deep penetration.
• 4mm-thick steel resists bending and wear.
• Triple-welded head secures the tines under heavy loads.
• 16-inch wide head covers more ground per pass.

When should I use the long tines versus the short tines?

The dual-sided design gives two functions in one tool: use the shorter, stubby tines to pry rocks and break up hardpan; flip or leverage the longer tines to spread loose material like mulch or gravel evenly. Switching sides lets you alternate between aggressive ground work and fine finishing without changing implements.

• Short tines: ideal for prying stones and loosening compacted patches.
• Long tines: best for raking leaves, spreading topsoil, and leveling gravel.
• Dual-purpose head reduces tool clutter in sheds or trucks.

Is this rake durable enough for heavy landscaping jobs?

Yes—the head is made from carbon steel with an anti-corrosion coating and secured with triple-welds to reduce the risk of separation during heavy use. The full-length handle provides leverage and reach for larger areas while keeping the head stable under load.

• Carbon steel construction with rust-resistant finish for longevity.
• Triple-welded joint prevents head detachment during tough jobs.
• Detachable design for compact storage and transport.

How easy is assembly and storage for travel or campsite use?

The Jardineer rake is designed to assemble quickly—typical setup takes about three minutes—and detaches for compact storage or transport. That makes it practical for gardeners, landscapers, and campers who need a reliable tool that travels well.

• Quick, no-fuss assembly in about three minutes.
• Detachable handle/head for compact storage and travel.
• Lightweight enough to carry to campsites yet sturdy for yard work.

Who is this for: The Jardineer Bow Rake suits homeowners, landscapers, and outdoor enthusiasts who need a single robust tool for multiple tasks—breaking up clay, spreading gravel or mulch, removing debris, and leveling soil. If you want a dependable metal rake that balances strength, coverage, and portability for routine yard maintenance or site prep, this model delivers practical versatility without unnecessary extras.
