Hunter MP1000 Rotator Spray Nozzle MP100090 8'–15' Radius 90º–210º Adjustable 5-Pack - Matched Precipitation

The Hunter MP1000 Series Rotator MP100090 is a compact, adjustable rotating sprinkler nozzle that delivers matched precipitation and uniform coverage for 8'–15' (2.4m–4.6m) spray patterns.

Designed for residential and light-commercial irrigation, the MP1000 rotator replaces traditional fixed-spray nozzles to improve distribution uniformity while lowering application rates. This 5-pack features the female 90º–210º model (MP100090), allowing easy installation on risers and pop-up bodies. The multi-trajectory rotating streams reduce runoff on slopes and tight soils, and built-in design elements flush debris on start-up and shut-down for reliable operation.

How does the MP1000 Series improve watering efficiency?

The rotating multi-trajectory streams spread water more evenly than stationary spray heads, which reduces dry spots and overwatering near the nozzle. Automatic matched precipitation ensures that when you change arc or radius, the nozzle still applies water at the same rate across its pattern.

• Lower application rate minimizes runoff on slopes and hard-pan soils
• Matched precipitation maintains uniformity after adjustments
• Multi-trajectory streams give better coverage with less overlap

What range and arc settings can I expect from this model?

This MP100090 delivers a radius between approximately 8' and 15' (2.4–4.6m) and supports adjustable arcs from 90º up to 210º, making it suitable for corner areas, narrow strips, or medium turf zones. Arc and radius are simple to fine-tune in the field without special tools.

• Radius: ~8'–15' (2.4–4.6m) for flexible zone design
• Arc: adjustable 90º–210º to match odd-shaped beds and corners
• Tool-free adjustments for quick on-site calibration

How does the MP1000 handle debris and start/stop cycles?

The nozzle includes Hunter’s patented double-pop self-flushing action that actuates at start-up and shut-down. This design helps clear particles without increasing flow-by through the spray head, improving long-term reliability in typical irrigation environments.

• Double-pop flushing clears debris at each cycle
• No increased flow-by maintains consistent spray performance
• Durable construction resists common field contaminants

What installation and maintenance should I plan for?

Install the MP100090 into standard female threaded pop-up bodies or risers; it swaps in like a conventional nozzle. Periodic inspection and occasional cleaning are usually sufficient—remove debris from the outlet and confirm arc/radius settings after winterization or system adjustments.

• Fits standard female-thread spray bodies and risers
• Quick swap-in replacement for existing nozzles
• Simple field cleaning and occasional inspection recommended

Who is this for? Landscapers, irrigation contractors, and homeowners who need consistent coverage in small-to-medium turf or planting areas will benefit from the MP1000 Series MP100090 5-pack. It’s especially useful where slopes, compacted soils, or irregular bed shapes demand reduced runoff and precise arc control. Choose this model when you want an efficient, reliable rotator nozzle that installs easily on standard pop-ups and improves water distribution without complex adjustments.
