Humboldts Secret Plant Enzymes liquid concentrate — 8 oz, 7,000 AU/mL for soil, coco & hydro media rejuvenation

Humboldts Secret Plant Enzymes is a concentrated liquid enzyme formula delivering 7,000 active units per milliliter to break down dead root material and refresh growing media.

Whether you grow in hydroponics, coco, or soil, enzymes speed decomposition of spent roots and organic residue so plants can reuse nutrients more efficiently. This 8-ounce bottle contains a high-strength blend designed for low application rates, making it cost-effective for recurring maintenance and media reuse. Packaging may vary during a transition, but the formula and potency remain unchanged.

How does this enzyme concentrate improve reused soil and potting mixes?

When replanting in previously cultivated soil, dead roots and organic matter tie up nutrients and can slow new root growth. Humboldts Secret Plant Enzymes digests that leftover organic debris, freeing bound nutrients and improving medium tilth and aeration so new roots can colonize faster.

• Breaks down old root mass into soluble nutrients plants can uptake.
• Helps restore soil structure and porosity for better oxygen access.
• Reduces buildup of detritus that can harbor pathogens or impede root growth.

Why is this product recommended for hydroponics and coco substrate?

Hydro and coco systems often lack the microbial populations that naturally decompose dead roots. A concentrated enzyme supplement provides those breakdown functions without depending on biological colonization, reducing root slime and maintaining clean flow and nutrient availability.

• Compatible with inert media like coco coir and hydroponic substrates.
• Prevents clogged drippers and roots coated in decomposing residue.
• Supports consistent nutrient recycling in recirculating systems.

How much do I use and how often should I apply it?

The product’s high potency keeps the recommended dose very low: a single milliliter per gallon provides effective enzymatic activity. Apply during regular nutrient feedings or when repotting/reusing media; repeat intervals depend on media condition and crop cycle length.

• Suggested rate: 1 ml per gallon (approximate; follow label directions).
• Use with every feed for routine maintenance or after repotting for media rejuvenation.
• Low-volume bottle makes dosing precise and economical over multiple uses.

Is this safe to use with other nutrients and growing practices?

Humboldts Secret Plant Enzymes is formulated to be compatible with common nutrient programs and growing media. It’s designed as a supplement to existing feeds rather than a replacement, and integrates well into both organic and mineral-based regimens when used according to directions.

• Works alongside standard nutrient solutions and supplements.
• Suitable for use in organic and synthetic feeding schedules when mixed properly.
• Does not replace complete fertilizers—serves to enhance media health and nutrient availability.

Who is this for? Growers who reuse potting mixes, run hydroponic or coco systems, or want an efficient way to clear out dead root matter will find this product useful. It’s aimed at hobbyists and commercial growers alike who prioritize media health, low-dose economy, and cleaner root zones. If you manage multiple cycles, recirculating reservoirs, or refreshed soils before replanting, this concentrated enzyme formula helps maintain nutrient access and media performance without frequent full-media replacement.
