Hooshing Brass Garden Hose Adapter 1/2" NPT F to 3/4" GHT F – 2-Pack, Washer Included, Corrosion-Resistant

Hooshing 2PCS Garden Hose Adapter converts a 1/2" NPT female pipe connection to a 3/4" GHT female garden hose thread, providing a durable brass link between differing hose and faucet fittings.

These two precision-made brass adapters let you join plumbing components that use national pipe thread (NPT) and standard garden hose thread (GHT) without resorting to improvised fittings. Each adapter is solid brass for corrosion resistance and includes a washer to reduce leaks, making it a practical addition to outdoor watering, cleaning, or irrigation setups. The compact design fits common hose and faucet configurations, and the package contains two identical adapters so you can convert multiple connections or keep a spare on hand.

How does this adapter actually connect NPT and GHT fittings?

The adapter features a female 1/2" NPT bore on one end and a female 3/4" GHT on the other, allowing two different thread standards to be joined via a short brass coupling. NPT is a tapered pipe thread used in plumbing; GHT is a straight thread used for hoses, so the adapter bridges those mechanical differences without modifying existing plumbing.

• 1/2" NPT female side fits nominal 1/2" tapered pipe threads
• 3/4" GHT female side accepts standard garden hose threads
• Included rubber washer helps form a water-tight seal
• Solid brass body resists corrosion and mechanical wear

Will this stop leaks and hold up outdoors?

When installed correctly with the supplied washer, the brass adapter provides a tight mechanical connection suitable for typical outdoor water pressure. Brass resists rust and the adapter's precision machining reduces mismatched threads that cause dripping or weeping over time. For best performance, check the washer condition and tighten by hand plus a small additional turn with pliers if needed; avoid over-torquing.

• Washer included to minimize seepage at the garden hose joint
• Brass construction stays rust-resistant in wet environments
• Precision threads reduce cross-threading and uneven seals
• Keep spare washers on hand to maintain leak-free service

What applications and fittings is it compatible with?

This adapter is useful wherever you need to join a 1/2" NPT female threaded pipe or fitting to a standard 3/4" garden hose. Typical uses include connecting faucets, water pumps, cleaning rigs, irrigation lines, pressure washers with compatible fittings, and other hose or pipe assemblies that use those thread types.

• Attach garden hoses to faucets or pipe outlets with 1/2" NPT
• Connect pump outlets or filtration units using matching threads
• Integrate into watering systems, car-wash stations, or cleaning setups
• Useful as a spare adapter in outdoor toolkits and repair boxes

How do I choose the right size and avoid fit issues?

Thread size labels are nominal pipe sizes and do not equal exact diameters, so verify the thread type and nominal size before buying. Confirm that your existing component is labeled 1/2" NPT (tapered) or 3/4" GHT (garden hose thread) and inspect thread condition; damaged threads may need repair or replacement for a secure seal.

• Measure or confirm thread standards on both components first
• Inspect threads for wear—replace if heavily damaged
• Use the supplied washer; replace periodically to prevent leaks
• Avoid excessive torque—hand-tighten, then small wrench turn

Who is this for: The Hooshing 2PCS Garden Hose Adapter is ideal for homeowners, gardeners, landscapers, and anyone maintaining outdoor water systems who needs a reliable brass solution for joining 1/2" NPT plumbing to 3/4" garden hoses. It's also handy for contractors, maintenance crews, and DIYers who prefer corrosion-resistant fittings and want a compact, no-frills way to adapt mismatched thread standards.
