Hongso Stainless Steel Heat Plates for Nexgrill 720-0925 Series — 4-Pack Flame Tamers, 14.56" x 3.38"

If your barbecue produces uneven heat, frequent flare-ups, or you want to protect expensive burners from dripping grease, these Hongso replacement heat plates are a direct-fit, cost-effective option. Each pack contains four stainless steel shields shaped to match popular Nexgrill and cross-compatible models. They sit above the burners to intercept grease, diffuse flames, and help maintain more consistent cooking temperatures across the grates.

How do these heat plates reduce flare-ups and protect burners?

The Hongso flame tamers sit between the burner and the food to stop grease from contacting open flame. By converting hot spots into radiant heat and catching drips, they limit sudden flares that char food and damage burner tubes. The stainless-steel construction resists warping and cleans with simple scraping or soaking.

• Stainless-steel material resists corrosion and high heat.
• 14 9/16" L x 3 3/8" W x 2 1/8" H sizing matches original shields.
• Traps grease away from burners, lowering flare-up frequency.
• Radiates heat for more uniform cooking across burners.

Which grill models are these heat plates compatible with?

These Hongso plates are built to replace factory shields on many Nexgrill 4-burner models, including the 720-0925 family, and they list cross-compatibility with several brands and SKU numbers. Use the provided dimensions to confirm fit before ordering—measure your existing heat shields to ensure an accurate match. Compatibility extends to numerous Nexgrill, Char-Broil, Kenmore, and similar consumer grill models.

• Designed for Nexgrill 720-0925, 720-0789H and related 4-burner models.
• Cross-compatible with Char-Broil 46624201 and several Kenmore SKUs.
• Also fits many Better Homes & Gardens, Members Mark, Dyna-Glo, and others.
• Check original part size and shape before purchase for best fit.

How easy is installation and maintenance?

Installation is straightforward: remove the cooking grates, lift out the old shields, and set the Hongso plates in place. No tools or modifications are typically needed when your original shields match the listed dimensions. For upkeep, scrape off heavy residue, soak in warm soapy water if necessary, and replace when rust or severe warping appears.

• Simple drop-in replacement—remove grates and swap plates.
• No special tools required when parts match dimensions.
• Clean by scraping, brushing, or soaking; stainless-steel finish simplifies care.
• Replacing worn shields helps prolong burner life and performance.

Will these plates change cooking performance or heat distribution?

Yes — by converting direct flame into radiant heat, these plates smooth out hot spots and create a more even surface temperature under the grates. That helps reduce burned spots and improves predictable browning across the grill. They won’t radically alter cooking times but do encourage steadier, more even results.

• Promotes more even heat spread across the grilling area.
• Reduces concentrated flame contact and hot-spot cooking.
• Helps maintain consistent temperatures for longer cook sessions.

Who is this for: The Hongso Heat Plates are ideal for homeowners and grill owners who need affordable, durable replacements for worn or missing flame tamers on 4-burner Nexgrill-style cookers. If you want to cut down flare-ups, protect burners from grease, and achieve more consistent grilling without buying a new grill, this 4-pack offers a practical solution. Confirm your original shield measurements (14 9/16" x 3 3/8" x 2 1/8") before ordering to ensure proper fit and performance.
