HOMI YOUNGJU Hand-Forged Korean Homi Hand Plow Hoe with Synthetic-Leather Safety Cover — Compact, Ergonomic Garden Tool

HOMI YOUNGJU Premium Quality Hand Plow Hoe is a 100% hand-forged Korean garden hoe with a protective synthetic-leather sheath, built for precise digging, weeding, and planting.

This expertly crafted homi is made by Korean master blacksmith No-Ki, Seok using traditional techniques to deliver a compact, durable tool for gardeners and small-scale farmers. Its shape and balance reflect centuries of practical design: a curved blade for slicing roots, a pointed tip for soil penetration, and a comfortable handle for controlled work. The included synthetic-leather safety cover preserves the blade and protects transport and storage.

How does this homi make gardening tasks easier?

The HOMI YOUNGJU hoe combines a sharp, hand-forged edge with ergonomic geometry so you can cut through weeds, loosen soil, and shape seed furrows with minimal effort. The short blade and angled profile give excellent leverage and control for close-quarters work in beds, pots, and terraces. Because it’s built by hand, the balance and edge retention are superior to stamped mass-market alternatives.

• Sharp curved blade for efficient root and weed cutting
• Pointed tip for precise hole-making and seeding
• Compact size ideal for raised beds and container gardening
• Hand-forged construction for long-lasting edge retention

What makes this hand plow hoe different from other hoes?

Unlike stamped or welded mass-produced hoes, this homi is fully hand-made by a Korean master blacksmith, giving it a unique combination of strength and finish. The blade geometry follows traditional Korean farming designs optimized for multi-purpose use—digging, slicing, scooping, and planting. The included synthetic-leather safety cover is custom-fit, protecting the blade and making the tool safer to carry.

• 100% hand-forged by a named Korean blacksmith, No-Ki, Seok
• Traditional homi profile refined for modern gardening
• Synthetic-leather cover with branded logo for safety and storage
• Durable finish that resists rust and wear when cared for

How should I use and care for the HOMI YOUNGJU hoe?

Use the homi for targeted weeding, creating planting holes, shaping soil, and small-scale plowing. After use, wipe moist soil from the blade, dry it, and store the tool in its safety cover to protect the edge and prevent corrosion. Periodically apply light oil to the metal and check the handle for wear to extend the life of your tool.

• Wipe and dry the blade after each use to prevent rust
• Store in the supplied synthetic-leather cover between uses
• Sharpen occasionally with a file or whetstone for best performance
• Apply a thin coat of oil to the metal for seasonal maintenance

Will this hoe suit different gardening styles or soil types?

The homi’s curved blade and pointed nose make it adaptable to a variety of soils—from loose loam to compacted patches—while its compact form fits closely planted beds and container setups. It performs well for raised beds, kitchen gardens, terraced plots, and smallholding tasks where precision matters more than sheer leverage. For heavy sod or deep subsoiling, pair it with larger implements.

• Works well in raised beds, containers, and small plots
• Effective in loam, sandy, and moderately compacted soils
• Designed for precision tasks rather than large-scale tilling
• Compact form factor for close-plant spacing and tight rows

Who is this for: The HOMI YOUNGJU Premium Hand Plow Hoe is ideal for home gardeners, urban growers, permaculturists, and small-scale farmers who value a precision, multi-purpose hand tool made with traditional craftsmanship. Choose this homi if you want a compact, reliable hoe for weeding, seeding, and detailed soil work, and if you appreciate hand-forged quality and a fitted safety cover for safe storage and transport.
