Home-X Fruit Picker Basket — Telescoping Pole Fruit Harvester, Foam-Lined Vinyl Basket for Apples & Citrus, Adjustable Clamp

The Home-X Fruit Picker Basket is a telescoping-pole-ready harvesting head with flexible prongs and a foam-lined vinyl basket that secures delicate fruit without bruising.

Save time and protect your harvest with a tool designed to reach high branches, cradle fruit gently, and attach to most standard poles. This lightweight picker combines soft-grip fingers to free fruit from stems and a cushioned basket to catch and hold produce until you’re ready to empty it. It’s simple to secure, easy to use, and built to handle a variety of shapes and sizes from apples to lemons.

How does the picker prevent bruising and protect fragile fruit?

The design uses flexible, finger-like prongs to separate fruit from the stem without squeezing or jolting it. Once released, fruit drops into a vinyl-coated basket padded with foam, which cushions impact and reduces rubbing during collection. This two-part system minimizes the chance of skin damage and bruises.

• soft flexible prongs that bend around fruit
• vinyl-coated basket resists scuffs and dirt
• internal foam pad absorbs impact from falls

Will it fit the pole I already own?

The Home-X picker includes an adjustable clamp that fastens to most common pole diameters, making it compatible with many telescoping and extension poles. The clamp tightens securely to prevent wobble while you work at height. Note that poles are sold separately, so check your pole diameter before purchase for the best fit.

• adjustable clamp fits a wide range of pole sizes
• quick-tightening mechanism for stable attachment
• designed for use with standard garden extension poles (not included)

What types of fruit can I pick with this tool?

Its flexible prong arrangement and roomy, padded basket accommodate many common tree fruits, including apples, pears, peaches, avocados, oranges, and lemons. The prongs grasp varying shapes while the basket holds larger or irregular items safely. This versatility makes it a good choice for mixed orchards and backyard fruit trees.

• suitable for round and oblong fruits like apples and avocados
• works on softer-skinned fruits such as peaches when used gently
• handles citrus and pears with minimal handling damage

How durable and low-maintenance is the Home-X basket?

Constructed with a vinyl-coated basket and resilient plastic prongs, the picker resists weathering and dirt while remaining lightweight for extended use. The foam lining is removable for cleaning, and the clamp hardware is built to hold under regular orchard use. With basic rinsing and occasional tightening of the clamp, it stays ready season after season.

• vinyl coating wipes clean and resists moisture
• foam cushion removable for washing or replacement
• sturdy clamp hardware for repeated seasonal use
