Hofdeco Premium Coastal Patio Throw Pillow Cover 18x18" Baby Blue Floral, Weather-Resistant with Piping

Hofdeco Premium's 18" x 18" Coastal Patio throw pillow cover is a weather-resistant, floral-print cover with piping and an invisible YKK zipper, designed for both indoor and outdoor use (insert sold separately).

This lightweight cover pairs a baby blue background with a delicate blush-pink floral motif and contrast piping to create a fresh coastal look. Woven from weather-resistant polyester, the fabric stands up to everyday outdoor lounging while remaining soft enough for indoor sofas, benches, and reading nooks. The pattern is printed on both sides and finished with reinforced piping and an invisible YKK zipper at the bottom for a polished appearance and easy insert removal.

How durable is this pillow cover for outdoor patios?

The cover uses weather-resistant polyester engineered to tolerate light exposure to the elements and routine use on outdoor furniture. It is not fully waterproof, so care is advised to protect it from prolonged direct sun and heavy rain.

• Weather-resistant polyester resists light moisture and stains.
• Piping adds edge protection where seams meet.
• Invisible YKK zipper provides a secure closure and clean look.
• Avoid constant direct sun and heavy rain to preserve printed colors.

Will it fit my existing cushions and how should I size the insert?

The cover measures 18" x 18" (45 x 45 cm) and is sold as a cover only, so you’ll need to buy an insert separately. For a full, plush appearance, many buyers choose a 20" x 20" insert to create a slightly overstuffed, tailored look.

• Outer dimensions: 18" x 18" (45 x 45 cm).
• Recommended insert: 20" x 20" for a full, rounded finish.
• Insert not included — purchase foam, down alternative, or feather separately.
• Check insert thickness for desired firmness and loft.

How do I care for and preserve the color and fabric?

Care is straightforward: spot clean or machine wash on a gentle cycle, and air dry to avoid shrinkage or damage to the piping and zipper. Because printed fabrics can fade under prolonged sunlight, rotate cushions and store covers when not in use to extend color vibrancy.

• Spot clean stains promptly with mild detergent.
• Machine wash gentle cycle, cold water; air dry recommended.
• Store covers indoors or in shaded areas when not in use.
• Avoid bleach and high-heat drying to protect fabric and piping.

How does this cover integrate with different decor styles?

The baby blue base and blush-pink florals create a soft coastal palette that layers easily with solid neutrals or bolder patterned pillows. The refined piping detail enhances formality, making it suitable for casual patios and dressier living rooms alike.

• Pairs well with navy, white, beige, and driftwood tones.
• Works as an accent on sofas, armchairs, patio benches, and swings.
• Use in groups or mixed patterns for a curated, designer look.
• Perfect seasonal accent for spring and summer styling.
