Heliwoo Pressure Washer Whip Hose 5ft 3/8" Steel-Braided 4800 PSI, 248°F Hot-Water Rated

Heliwoo Pressure Washer Whip Hose is a 5-foot, 3/8-inch steel-braided jumper designed to connect your power washer pump to a hose reel or wand while handling up to 4800 PSI and 248°F (120°C) hot water.

This compact whip hose gives professionals and DIYers a dependable link between the pressure washer and reel or accessory. Built with a high-tensile steel braid, 3/8" quick-connect fittings, and a heat-rated inner tube, it replaces fragile rubber lines with a kink-resistant, long-lasting option for car wash bays, service racks, or mobile cleaning setups.

How does this hose handle high temperatures and pressure?

The internal tube and braid are specified for use with hot water up to 248°F (120°C) and a working pressure rating of 4800 PSI. That combination lets the hose survive steam-cleaning conditions at many commercial sites without rapid deterioration. It’s engineered to stay stable under thermal stress and repeated pressurization cycles.

• Rated for 120°C (248°F) hot water applications
• 4800 PSI working pressure capacity
• High-tensile steel-wire braid resists burst and abrasion
• Kink-resistant construction preserves flow at high temps

Will the quick-connect fittings work with my existing reel or gun?

The Heliwoo whip hose includes 3/8" quick-connect plug and disconnect fittings that mate with most standard pressure washer reels and guns. The coupler is removable so you can convert to a threaded end for direct reel attachment if required. This flexibility simplifies installation in both retrofit and new-system setups.

• 3/8" quick connect on both ends for fast swaps
• Removable quick coupler for threaded reel compatibility
• Fits common pressure washer reels, guns, and accessories
• Saves time during hose changes and maintenance

How durable is the hose for daily commercial use?

Durability is a focal point: the steel-wire braid reinforces the hose against cuts, abrasion and bursting while preserving flexibility. The outer cover is designed to be non-marking and resistant to wear, making the hose well-suited for car wash bays, pump rooms, and mobile pressure-wash rigs where frequent handling occurs.

• Steel-braided reinforcement for long service life
• Non-marking outer cover prevents floor scuffs
• Designed to resist kinks, leaks, and collapse
• Lightweight 5-foot length for easy reel connection

How easy is it to carry, store, and troubleshoot?

At 5 feet long and with a flexible braided design, this whip hose is straightforward to roll, stow on a reel, or swap out for servicing. Quick-connect fittings let you detach the line without tools, and the removable coupler offers a simple path to threaded repairs or replacements. Heliwoo also provides responsive customer support for warranty or installation questions.

• Compact 5 ft length fits near-machine reels
• Quick-connects speed up maintenance and replacement
• Removable coupler allows threaded repairs
• 7x24 Heliwoo support for warranty and troubleshooting
