HayEastdor 1-inch PVC Pipe Coupling Adapters 9-Pack — White SCH40 Solvent-Weld Sockets

HayEastdor 9PCS 1-inch PVC pipe coupling adapters are socket-to-socket connectors designed to join and extend 1" PVC pipes for irrigation, sprinkler, and cold-water systems.

These nine white socket slip couplings are made from high-density PVC to provide a lightweight, corrosion-resistant option for connecting same-diameter straight pipes. Each fitting is designed for permanent solvent-weld connections using primer and PVC cement, making them suitable for underground irrigation lines, rainwater systems, pool plumbing, and other cold-water applications. The fittings conform to SCH40 specifications and are intended for use in systems that do not exceed 140°F.

How do these couplings connect to my irrigation pipes?

Each coupling has smooth socket ends sized to accept a 1" PVC pipe. Use a primer to prepare the pipe and fitting surfaces, then apply solvent cement to create a chemical weld that forms a durable, leak-resistant joint.

• Socket-to-socket design for 1" Schedule 40 PVC
• Requires primer and solvent cement for installation
• Quick push-assemble is not applicable—use solvent welding for permanence
• Lightweight alternative to metal couplers

Will these adapters withstand outdoor and underground conditions?

The high-density PVC material resists corrosion and wear from moisture and soil contact, making the couplings appropriate for buried irrigation and sprinkler lines. They are not intended for high-temperature systems above 140°F.

• Corrosion-resistant PVC for longevity in wet environments
• Suitable for burial in landscape irrigation runs
• Not rated for hot-water applications beyond recommended temperature
• Lightweight—reduces strain on pipe runs and joints

How many fittings are included and what projects are they best for?

This pack contains nine identical 1" slip socket couplings, providing enough fittings for small repairs or multiple connection points in a single project. They work well for extending pipe length, repairing damaged sections, or assembling simple underground sprinkler layouts.

• Nine couplings per package for multiple repairs or installs
• Ideal for drip-irrigation mainlines and sprinkler lateral repairs
• Good for DIY garden plumbing and rainwater harvesting setups
• Can be stocked as spare parts for maintenance

What do I need to install them correctly?

Installation requires standard PVC plumbing tools and materials: a pipe cutter, PVC primer, and solvent cement rated for Schedule 40 PVC. Proper cleaning and solvent welding are essential for a reliable, leak-free connection.

• Cut pipe squarely for full socket engagement
• Use primer to clean and soften surfaces before cement
• Apply solvent cement liberally inside the socket and on the pipe end
• Hold pipe in socket briefly to ensure proper bond

Who is this product for: HayEastdor's 9PCS 1" PVC coupling adapters suit homeowners, landscapers, and irrigation technicians who need economical, durable fittings for cold-water and sprinkler systems. Choose this pack if you want SCH40-compatible connectors for routine repairs, small irrigation projects, or to keep as replacement parts for maintenance of underground and outdoor plumbing.
