HAEZU Copper Chicken Waterer Disk — 4-inch 0.6mm Pure Copper Disc with 4-Point Support for Slime Reduction

HAEZU's 4-inch, 0.6mm pure copper disk is an easy drop-in upgrade for chicken waterers that helps reduce slime and keeps drinking water clearer between cleanings.

Keep poultry water fresher with a precision-cut copper disc engineered for backyard coops and small farm water systems. This 4-inch (10 cm) disk is stamped from 99.99% pure copper and fitted with a four-point support that lifts the disc to let water circulate fully around the metal. Designed for quick, tool-free installation, it’s a low-effort accessory intended to slow buildup in containers roughly 25–40 gallons (100–150 L). Replace or refresh monthly for steady performance.

How does this copper disk improve my chickens' water between cleanings?

The raised four-point supports increase water exposure to the copper surface, promoting more consistent contact than flat disks. That elevated flow helps limit visible gunk and keeps water looking clearer longer, so you don’t have to scrub buckets as often.

• 4-point support increases flow and surface contact by an estimated 8x versus flat discs.
• 0.6mm thickness balances flexibility with durability for repeated use.
• One disk is sized for 25–40 gallon (100–150 L) containers.

How long will one HAEZU copper disk last before I need to replace it?

Under normal use, a single disk remains effective for about one month before cleaning or replacement is recommended. For larger tanks or heavier use, add more disks so each portion of water keeps direct exposure to copper.

• Typical lifespan: about 30 days of continuous service.
• For >50 gallons (200 L), use multiple disks to maintain performance.
• Cleaning and reuse can extend life, then refresh when visual buildup appears.

Will the disk fit my existing automatic chicken waterer?

The disk’s 4-inch diameter and thin 0.6mm profile make it compatible with most standard poultry water buckets and automatic waterers. Its flexible copper sheet conforms slightly without permanently bending, and the elevated supports prevent tipping or sinking.

• 4-inch (10 cm) diameter fits common poultry water containers and smaller tanks.
• Thin, flexible copper molds to irregular surfaces without deforming.
• Raised supports keep the disk stable and ensure 360° water circulation.

How do I install and maintain the copper disk?

Installation is a simple drop-in: place the disk into the waterer with supports facing down and let the water flow around it. Monthly maintenance is minimal — remove, rinse or wipe gently, and replace; if heavily tarnished, clean per basic metal care before returning.

• Installation takes under 10 seconds — no tools required.
• Monthly rinse or gentle cleaning recommended to restore appearance.
• Store dry between seasons if not in continuous use.

Who is this for? HAEZU’s copper disk is made for backyard flock owners, small-scale poultry keepers, and hobby farmers who want a low-maintenance way to reduce visible buildup in chicken waterers. It’s also helpful for anyone with multiple small water containers who prefers simple, tool-free upgrades that save time on routine cleaning. For larger commercial systems, consider multiple disks or larger copper solutions tailored to higher volumes.
