Grazeline Electric Fence Polybraid 1/4" 1000 ft Rope — 6 Tinned Copper Strands, High-Visibility UV-Treated

Grazeline 1/4" Electric Fence Polybraid is a 1,000-foot high-visibility, heavy-duty electric rope that combines six tinned copper conductors with UV-treated polyethylene braid for reliable conductivity, strength, and long outdoor life.

Built for pastures, horse paddocks, and perimeter control, this polybraid balances electrical performance with animal safety. The six tinned copper strands deliver low resistance for effective shock delivery while the braided jacket keeps the rope flexible and comfortable for livestock. Bright white, neon yellow, and blue fibers increase visibility so animals recognize the barrier, and the rope withstands weathering thanks to tinning and UV protection.

How well will this polybraid conduct charge across long runs?

The Grazeline polybraid uses six tinned copper strands to minimize resistance and preserve energizer output over long distances. With about 0.1 ohm per meter resistance, the rope maintains a strong, consistent circuit so energizers can perform efficiently.

• Six tinned copper conductors for low electrical resistance
• Approximately 0.1 ohm/m resistance to reduce voltage drop
• 1,000-foot reel suitable for extended fencing runs

Is this safe and comfortable for horses and other livestock?

The braided construction creates a smooth, rounded surface with no sharp edges, reducing rubs and cuts if animals contact the fence. Flexibility helps the rope absorb force, and bright colors warn animals visually to avoid accidental impact.

• Rounded polybraid reduces risk of skin abrasions and injuries
• Flexible braid absorbs impact to lower entanglement risk
• High-visibility colors help animals see and respect the boundary

How durable is the rope in outdoor conditions?

Grazeline combines tinned copper strands with UV-stable braided sheathing to resist corrosion and sun damage. The tin coating protects the conductors from rust, while the polymer braid is treated to slow UV breakdown, extending functional life in harsh climates.

• Tinned copper resists rust and improves longevity
• UV-treated braid resists fading and surface degradation
• Designed to handle weather exposure and regular farm use

What breaking strength and warranty does this polybraid offer?

This rope is engineered for heavy-duty use with a rated breaking strength around 900 lbs, giving a solid margin for livestock containment and handling. Grazeline backs the product with a 10-year warranty to cover manufacturing defects and expected durability under normal conditions.

• Breaking strength approximately 900 lbs for robust performance
• 10-year warranty for manufacturer confidence and buyer peace of mind
• Suitable for demanding pasture and perimeter applications
