Giraffe Tools retractable ground-mounted garden hose reel 1/2" x 100ft — auto-retract, any-length lock

The Giraffe Tools Ground-Mounted Retractable Garden Hose Reel is a pre-assembled, 100-foot, 1/2" hybrid hose system that locks at any length and auto-retracts for tangle-free storage.

This all-weather hose reel combines a heavy-duty, abrasion-resistant hose with a reliable automatic rewind and an adjustable lock so you can water, wash, or clean without dragging a loose hose. Built for outdoor durability, the reel arrives pre-assembled and ready to mount on lawn or concrete surfaces. The nozzle offers seven spray patterns to cover everything from delicate seedlings to powerful rinsing tasks.

How does the any-length lock improve everyday watering?

The any-length lock lets you stop the hose at precisely the distance you need, preventing slack and reducing tripping hazards. No more winding or guessing how much hose to pull — deliver water exactly where required and lock it in place.

• Stops the hose at any chosen length for precise reach.
• Reduces tangles, kinks, and lawn clutter.
• Makes repetitive tasks faster by saving your preferred length.

What makes the auto-retract system reliable?

A gentle pull engages the retract mechanism to rewind the hose smoothly into the reel, organizing your yard in seconds. The mechanism is designed for repeated use and minimizes manual effort while protecting the hose from sun and wear when not in use.

• Smooth, controlled rewind reduces stress on hose fittings.
• Internal spool stores hose away from UV exposure and dirt.
• Pre-assembled reel simplifies setup and immediate use.

Is the hose durable enough for heavy outdoor use?

This hybrid hose is engineered to be flexible yet abrasion-resistant, with high working and burst pressure ratings to handle demanding chores. It’s freeze- and burst-resistant in normal use, making it suitable for seasonal outdoor environments.

• 1/2-inch diameter, 100-foot length for extended reach.
• Tested to 300 PSI working pressure and 600 PSI burst pressure.
• All-weather construction resists kinks, leaks, and wear.

Which spray patterns are included and when should I use them?

The included multi-pattern nozzle offers seven settings from gentle to powerful, making this kit versatile for plant care, car washing, patio cleaning, and pet baths. Switching patterns is quick, putting the right flow at your fingertips for each task.

• Mist: gentle watering for seedlings and delicate plants.
• Flat and shower: broad coverage for garden beds and lawns.
• Jet and power: concentrated streams for cleaning driveways or rinsing equipment.
