FROG JumpH & TArget pH and TA Increaser for Hot Tubs & Swim Spas — 1 Smart Dose Cap, Fast pH/Alkalinity Correction

FROG JumpH & TArget is a precision pH and total alkalinity increaser formulated to raise and stabilize water chemistry in hot tubs and swim spas for clearer, more comfortable water.

Maintaining balanced pH and total alkalinity (TA) is essential for effective sanitization, equipment longevity and comfortable bathing. FROG JumpH & TArget provides a straightforward way to correct low pH and low TA without complicated calculations. The product pairs with FROG TruDose technology for measured dosing, and it works safely alongside chlorine, bromine, or salt systems in any hot tub or swim spa.

How quickly will FROG JumpH & TArget raise my pH and alkalinity?

Results depend on water volume and current chemistry readings, but JumpH & TArget is designed to deliver measurable changes after a single dose and mixing cycle. Always retest after circulation and adjust with small, repeat doses for precise control.

• Add to circulating water and allow full turnover before retesting.
• Use FROG TruDose cap for repeatable, spill-free measurement.
• Titrate in small increments when making fine adjustments.

Will this product work with my sanitizer or salt system?

Yes — FROG JumpH & TArget is compatible with chlorine, bromine and salt chlorine generators used in hot tubs and swim spas. It affects only pH and TA, so it won’t interfere with your sanitizer’s active chemistry when used as directed.

• Safe to use with mineral systems and FROG mineral cartridges.
• Follow sanitizer-specific dosing guidance if combined with shock or oxidizers.
• Always test sanitizer residuals after balancing pH/TA.

How do I measure and dose without complicated math?

FROG removes guesswork with the TruDose measuring cap that features cup and tablespoon markings. The translucent cap helps you deliver accurate, repeatable doses; combine that with a standard test strip for quick before-and-after checks.

• Measure with the TruDose cap—no conversion charts needed.
• Follow the printed dosage table for hot tub or swim spa volumes.
• Retest after circulation and adjust using small additional doses.

How does balancing pH and TA protect my hot tub and users?

Keeping pH between about 7.2 and 7.6 and proper TA improves sanitizer performance, reduces metal corrosion and minimizes skin or eye irritation. Balanced water also looks clearer and feels softer on the skin, while preventing scale or etching that can damage surfaces and heaters.

• Improves sanitizer efficiency so you can maintain safe residuals.
• Reduces risk of corrosion to pumps, heaters and fittings.
• Minimizes scale formation and protects plaster, acrylic and metal parts.

Who this is for: FROG JumpH & TArget is aimed at hot tub and swim spa owners who want a simple, reliable way to raise and stabilize pH and total alkalinity without complicated chemistry. It suits new spa owners, busy households that prefer low-maintenance water care, and experienced technicians seeking a compatible, accurate alkalinity/pH increaser for use alongside chlorine, bromine or salt systems. Use it with FROG test strips and the TruDose cap for straightforward, repeatable adjustments that keep water comfortable and equipment protected.
