FoxFarm Fish Fertilizer Organic Liquid Emulsion — 1 Pint, 3-1-0 Formula for Fast Nutrient Uptake

FoxFarm Bush Doctor Wholly Mackerel is a concentrated organic fish emulsion liquid fertilizer (3-1-0) formulated for fast nutrient uptake to support vigorous growth in both in-ground and container gardens.

Made from fish-derived nutrients and greenhouse-tested by FoxFarm, this one-pint bottle provides an easy-to-mix, ready-to-use feed that promotes strong foliage and root development without synthetic additives. The formula prioritizes immediate availability of nitrogen and beneficial organic matter so plants can access nourishment quickly after application. It’s designed for regular, low-effort feedings and works well across vegetables, ornamentals, and container-grown specimens.

How quickly will plants show results after feeding?

Wholly Mackerel supplies readily available nitrogen and organic nutrients that plants can absorb soon after application, so you may notice greener leaves and perkier growth within days. Speed of response depends on plant type, soil temperature, and moisture levels, with warmer conditions encouraging faster uptake.

• Visible leaf color improvement often in 2–7 days
• Best results when soil is moist and temperatures are moderate
• Repeat every other week as directed for steady development

How do I apply this liquid fish fertilizer in containers and in-ground beds?

Mix one tablespoon (15 mL) of Wholly Mackerel per gallon (4 L) of water and drench the soil thoroughly around the root zone. For containers, pour until you see some drainage; for in-ground beds, water evenly to reach active roots. Apply every other week during the growing season for consistent nutrient availability.

• Mix 1 tbsp per gallon of water for standard feedings
• Apply as a soil drench, avoiding heavy foliage contact
• Use more frequent feedings for heavy-feeding crops like leafy greens

Will this product work for organic gardening and edible plants?

Yes—Wholly Mackerel is formulated for organic gardening and is suitable for vegetables, herbs, and fruiting plants. It provides natural nutrients without synthetic fertilizers, supporting organic growing practices when used according to label instructions. Always follow local organic certification rules if you grow under a specific program.

• Organic-friendly fish emulsion formula

How should I store and handle this fish emulsion fertilizer?

Keep the bottle tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve effectiveness and limit odor. Shake well before diluting; rinse application tools after use. If spilled, dilute with water and clean surfaces promptly to avoid staining.

• Store sealed at moderate temperatures, away from heat
• Shake before measuring to ensure even dilution
