Falkridge 17-Inch Metal Grill Tongs — Pakkawood Handles, 14.5" Heat-Safe Reach, Heavy-Duty Stainless

Falkridge 17-Inch Metal Tongs are heavy-duty grill tongs with a long, heat-safe reach, hybrid scalloped jaws, and Pakkawood handles built for confident flipping and serving at the barbecue.

These extra-long metal tongs are engineered for backyard grilling and smoker use where distance and control matter. Measuring 17 inches overall with a 14.5-inch functional heat-safe reach from handle to head, they give you room to work around hot grates, coals, and smoking chambers. Built from 1.0mm thick stainless steel with a hybrid scalloped jaw design and comfortable Pakkawood grips, they combine durability, grip, and versatility for heavy cuts and delicate basting alike.

How do these tongs keep me safely away from heat?

The extended length creates a larger safety margin between your hands and open flames, hot grates, or smoker mouths. The handle-to-head reach is optimized so the working jaw stays effective without forcing you to lean over the cooking surface.

• 17" total length with 14.5" functional reach from handle to jaw
• Thick 1.0mm stainless steel resists bending under load
• Pakkawood handles stay comfortable and water-resistant during long cooks

What makes the hybrid scalloped jaws useful for different foods?

The dual-head jaw mixes a slotted, scalloped side for gripping and draining with a solid scooping side for basting and lifting. That combination means you can handle large steaks, ribs, or whole poultry securely while also moving sauced or tender items without piercing or shredding them.

• Slotted side grips heavy cuts and lets excess fat drain away
• Solid side scoops and bastes without puncturing delicate meat
• Scalloped edges improve purchase on slippery or crusted surfaces

Are these tongs built to last in a busy grilling setup?

Yes—the 1.0mm stainless steel stems resist twisting and handle the torque of turning large food items. The Pakkawood grips are moisture-resistant and shaped for ambidextrous comfort, and the integrated locking ring keeps the tongs compact for storage.

• Durable construction for heavy use on charcoal, gas, and pellet grills
• Pakkawood offers a robust, heat-tolerant grip versus cheap plastics
• Pull-ring lock secures the tongs closed for safe drawer storage

How do these tongs improve everyday grilling tasks?

They add reach, strength, and control so flipping, turning, and basting feel more precise and less awkward. Whether you’re moving ribs in a smoker, flipping burgers on a griddle, or serving vegetables off a cast-iron, these tongs reduce slips and preserve food appearance.

• Firm grip minimizes food slippage and tearing
• Long reach keeps hands further from flare-ups and steam
• Multi-function jaw replaces the need for separate spatula or scoop in many tasks

Who is this for? These Falkridge 17-inch metal tongs are designed for home grillers, backyard hosts, and serious weekend barbecuers who want durable tools that handle large cuts and high-heat setups. They suit owners of pellet smokers, charcoal grills, gas grills, and flat-top griddles who need longer reach, stronger lifting power, and a versatile jaw shape for both heavy and delicate foods.
