Esie Houzie Stainless Steel Grill & Kitchen Tongs 2-Pack — 16" + 12", Heavy-Duty, Heat-Resistant Wooden Handles

Esie Houzie 2-pack stainless steel tongs — a heavy-duty 16" grill tong and a 12" kitchen tong designed for secure gripping, heat resistance and long-lasting rust protection.

Whether you're flipping steaks at a backyard cookout or serving salads at the table, these two tongs cover kitchen and grill tasks without swapping tools. Each piece is stamped from one continuous sheet of 1mm stainless steel for strength, with scalloped tips that hold food firmly and wooden handles that reduce heat transfer. A built-in pull-ring lock and generous hanging loop keep storage tidy and make the tongs ready when you need them.

How do these tongs handle high heat and outdoor grilling?

The Esie Houzie tongs are engineered to tolerate grill temperatures and intense kitchen use. Their single-piece stainless-steel construction resists warping at high temperatures, while the wooden handles act as thermal buffers so your hands stay cooler when handling hot food.

• 1mm-thick stainless steel body resists bending and rust.
• Heat-resistant to above 600°F (315°C) for safe grilling.
• Wood handles slow heat conduction to protect your grip.
• Scalloped ends provide confident gripping of meat and vegetables.

What sizes are included and when should I use each one?

This set contains a 16-inch grill tong and a 12-inch kitchen tong so you have the right reach for different tasks. Use the longer tong for flare-ups, hot coals and the back of the grill; the shorter one is perfect for stovetop frying, serving and close-quarter tasks indoors.

• 16" tong — extended reach for grills, smokers and open flames.
• 12" tong — compact control for pots, pans and buffet service.
• Two sizes reduce cross-contamination between raw and ready foods.

How does the locking and storage system improve usability?

A simple pull-ring lock on each tong secures the arms closed for compact storage and prevents accidental opening while hanging. The mechanism is intuitive: pull up to lock for storage or travel, press down to release when you're ready to cook.

• Pull-ring locking keeps tongs closed and compact in drawers.
• Large hanging loop allows convenient hook storage near the grill.
• Locking action prevents sudden openings while handling food.

What care is required to keep the tongs performing well?

Maintenance is straightforward: hand-wash the tongs and dry them completely before putting them away to protect the wooden handles and prevent water spots. Avoid prolonged soaking and dishwasher cycles to preserve the wood and finish.

• Hand wash only, avoid dishwasher exposure to protect wood.
• Dry fully before storage to prevent moisture damage.
• Periodic oiling of the wood handle can prolong its appearance.

It suits anyone needing durable, heat-resistant utensils with a safe grip and compact storage option — from weekend grillers to busy home kitchens looking to simplify tools without sacrificing performance.
