Eastrans 3in x 50ft Blue PVC Backwash Hose for Pools — Heavy-Duty Discharge with Aluminum Camlock Fittings

Eastrans 3" x 50' blue PVC backwash hose is a heavy-duty, chemically resistant pool discharge hose with reinforced construction and aluminum Camlock C and E fittings for reliable pump connections.

When you need to move large volumes of pool water, backwash debris, or run a temporary drain, this 3-inch by 50-foot Eastrans hose delivers a balance of flexibility, strength and chemical tolerance. Built from flexible PVC reinforced with high-tensile polyester yarn, it resists abrasion, tears and the common chemicals found around pool equipment. The supplied aluminum Camlock C and E fittings make hookup quick and secure while reducing the risk of corrosion compared with standard steel couplings.

How does this hose stand up to pool chemicals and UV exposure?

The Eastrans backwash hose uses industry-grade PVC formulated to resist oils, grease and many pool chemicals, prolonging service life even with regular exposure. The inner and outer walls remain flexible at typical pool temperatures, and the woven polyester reinforcement keeps the hose shape intact to prevent kinks and leaks.

• Chemical resistance to common pool cleaners and solutions
• PVC outer layer resists abrasion, sunlight and weathering
• High-tensile polyester weave prevents stretching and tearing

Will it work with my pump and how easy is the connection?

This 3" hose is designed for standard pool and sump pumps, providing a 90 PSI working pressure rating suitable for most discharge tasks. It ships with aluminum Camlock C and E fittings that clip together securely for leak-free operation and disconnect quickly when the job is done.

• 3" diameter fits common pool and trash pumps
• Aluminum Camlock C and E couplings for fast, durable connections
• Pre-fitted ends reduce setup time—plug-and-play for most systems

How durable and easy to store is the 50' PVC discharge hose?

The hose’s continuous woven polyester reinforcement gives it excellent resistance to punctures and collapse under suction. After use it flattens for compact rolling, making seasonal storage simple; keep it dry and out of direct sunlight to extend lifespan.

• Reinforced construction resists leaks and tears
• Flat-roll design for neat storage in sheds or closets
• Temperature range suitable for most climates: 23°F to 149°F (-5°C to 65°C)

What applications is the Eastrans 3" hose suited for?

This hose is versatile for pool owners and contractors: use it for filter backwash, draining pools, sump pump discharge, and moving water for landscaping or construction dewatering. Its size and fittings make it especially practical when a robust temporary discharge line is required.

• Pool backwash and drain lines for in-ground and above-ground pools
• Sump and trash pump discharge for yard or construction use
• Temporary water transfer for landscaping or maintenance tasks

Who is this for: Pool service professionals, homeowners managing seasonal pool maintenance, and contractors needing a dependable 3" discharge hose. If you want a durable, chemically tolerant, easy-to-connect hose that stores flat and performs under pressure, the Eastrans 3" x 50' PVC backwash hose is built for those jobs without unnecessary complexity.
