What spray patterns does this sprinkler offer and how do they differ?

The turret features nine distinct patterns that let you tailor water distribution to the size and shape of the area you want to irrigate. Patterns range from broad circular coverage to narrow rectangles suitable for rows, giving precise control for lawns, garden beds and containers.

• Large Circle — wide-area coverage suitable for medium lawns.
• Outer Ring and Small Circle — focused rings for bordering plants and compact spaces.
• Half Circle, Square and Half Square — edge and corner watering without overspray.
• Rectangle and Narrow Rectangle — ideal for raised beds and row plantings.

How sturdy and convenient is the metal base for regular outdoor use?

The sprinkler’s heavy-duty metal base delivers stable placement on turf or soil, reducing tipping and wear during frequent use. A molded hook on the base makes hanging or storing the unit effortless, keeping it out of the way when not in use.

• Weighted metal base prevents shifting on uneven ground.
• Molded storage hook enables tidy hose rack or pegboard storage.
• Durable materials designed for repeated outdoor exposure and handling.

Can this turret be used safely around kids and in play areas?

The ColorStorm Turret’s varied spray options include gentle patterns well suited for children’s play and cooling off during warm days. Its robust base helps prevent the unit from tipping when kids run nearby, while the colorful design adds a playful visual accent to outdoor spaces.

• Lower-pressure patterns provide softer sprays for safe play.
• Bright red finish makes the sprinkler easy to spot on the lawn.
• Heavy base minimizes tipping risks during active use.

What maintenance and compatibility should I expect?

Maintenance is minimal: rinse debris from the turret and check the hose connection for leaks. The sprinkler fits standard garden hoses and coordinates visually with Dramm ColorStorm hoses for a matching setup.

• Quick rinse clears mineral buildup from spray ports.
• Standard hose thread compatibility for most garden setups.
• Lifetime guarantee protects against manufacturing defects.
