Deck & Home 190399 Universal Sprayer is a 2-gallon pump sprayer built for multi-purpose outdoor and indoor use, offering chemical-resistant Viton seals, a low-effort pump, and four interchangeable nozzles for broad coverage.

The Deck & Home 190399 Universal Sprayer combines a roomy 2-gallon tank with a high-efficiency pump and durable Viton seals to tackle chores from gardening to home cleaning. Designed for water-based sealers, fertilizers, weed control, insect treatments, and household cleaners, this sprayer emphasizes ease of use and chemical resistance. It is not intended for applying stains.

How does the pump make spraying easier?

The sprayer’s pump is engineered to reduce effort: it needs about 25% fewer pumps per gallon compared with a leading competitor, which lowers fatigue during larger jobs. A comfortable shut-off with a lock feature allows continuous spraying without squeezing, making long tasks more manageable.

• 25% fewer pumps per gallon for less effort
• Comfort-grip shut-off minimizes hand strain
• Lockable trigger for continuous spray during extended use

What chemicals and tasks is this sprayer suitable for?

The Deck & Home Universal sprayer is compatible with many water-based liquids and common household chemicals, including bleach and degreasers, thanks to Viton seals that resist deterioration. It is ideal for weed control, feeding plants, insect treatment, washing cars, and applying water-based deck or concrete sealers, but it is not formulated for applying stains or heavy oils.

• Safe with bleach and many harsh cleaners due to Viton gaskets
• Perfect for fertilizer, weed killer, insect control, and cleaners
• Not recommended for solvent-based stains or very viscous materials

Which nozzles are included and when should I use each?

Four nozzles are supplied to cover a range of spray patterns and tasks: an adjustable poly nozzle for variable streams, two flat-fan nozzles for even surface coverage, and a high-performance foaming nozzle for detergents and cling applications. Switching nozzles tailors spray width, droplet size, and application style to the job at hand.

• Poly adjustable nozzle for spot treatments or focused streams
• Two flat-fan nozzles for uniform coverage on decks and concrete
• High-performance foaming nozzle for cleaning and cling applications

How is the sprayer built for durability and maintenance?

Key sealing components use Viton, a chemical-resistant material that extends service life when using harsh cleaners like bleach. The pump and shut-off assembly are designed for repeated use and easier maintenance, while the wide-mouth tank simplifies filling and rinsing between different solutions.

• Viton seals and gaskets for extended chemical resistance
• Robust pump construction for repeated, efficient use
• Wide tank opening for easy filling and cleaning
