Creative Co-Op Boho Terracotta Footed Planter, Matte Black — Hand-Finished 3-Leg 3.5in Succulent Bowl

The Creative Co-Op Boho Terracotta Footed Planter in matte black is a hand-finished, slate-grey terracotta bowl with three legs, designed for small botanicals, trinket storage, or tabletop styling.

This compact, sculptural piece blends rustic terracotta texture with a distressed matte finish to bring organic warmth and subtle bohemian character to shelves, desks, and side tables. At roughly 3.5 inches in diameter and 3 inches tall, the footed bowl works equally well as a tiny planter for succulents or as an artful catchall for jewelry, keys, and decorative accents. Every item receives a hand-applied slate-grey treatment, so no two pieces look exactly the same—perfect for layered, lived-in interiors.

How will this footed planter fit into a small space or apartment?

The compact footprint and elevated three-leg design make it ideal for tight nooks where height and texture matter more than volume. It brings visual interest without crowding surfaces, and its neutral slate-grey finish pairs well with most palettes.

• Measures 3.5 inches diameter x 3 inches height—fits windowsills and narrow shelves
• Raised legs create depth and airflow under contents
• Small capacity suits succulents, faux stems, or everyday trinkets

Is the finish durable, and will each piece look the same?

The planter is made from 100% terracotta and finished by hand with a distressed matte slate-grey coating, so surface variations are intentional and part of the design. The tactile, worn look is decorative rather than a flaw, but avoid harsh impact or prolonged exposure to moisture to preserve the finish.

• Hand-painted, distressed slate-grey finish—unique patina on every piece
• Terracotta body provides natural texture and weight
• Best for indoor use or protected outdoor spots to maintain finish

Can I use this bowl as a planter for real plants?

Yes—it's well suited for small succulents or cacti when used with careful watering and drainage considerations. Because the bowl is terracotta, it breathes well, but the product does not list a drainage hole, so use a layer of gravel or a planted liner to prevent root rot.

• Ideal for succulents, cacti, or faux botanicals
• Add gravel or use a liner for plants since a drainage hole is not specified
• Terracotta helps moderate moisture but monitor watering frequency

How can I style this piece in my home decor?

The bowl’s Scandinavian-inspired silhouette and asymmetrical rim make it versatile across styles from modern farmhouse to boho-chic. Use it alone as a sculptural accent, group with varying heights for a vignette, or pair it with dried botanicals for low-maintenance green styling.

• Group multiples of different finishes for layered texture
• Use as a jewelry catchall on a dresser or nightstand
• Fill with dried stems or small faux plants for year-round display
