cogardenshower Manual Thatch Rake 15-in Dual-Sided Head, 70-in Adjustable Handle — 19 High-Carbon Tines

The cogardenshower Manual Thatch Rake is a dual-sided 15-inch yard tool with 19 hardened steel tines and an adjustable 70-inch handle for removing thatch, moss, and surface debris on small to medium lawns.

Built for targeted dethatching and quick spot cleanup, this manual rake combines a winged cutting side and a curved gathering side so you can both loosen compacted thatch and collect leaves, pine needles, and grass clippings. Its thick high-carbon steel tines and crossbars deliver the strength needed for repetitive yard work, while the screw-together handle and angle adjustment let you customize reach and leverage. The rust-resistant finish and take-apart storage design make it a practical choice for seasonal lawn care tasks.

How does this rake remove compacted thatch and moss?

The 19 sharp steel tines penetrate matted layers to lift and pull out dead grass, roots, and moss without motorized equipment. Working by hand gives you precise control over pressure and coverage so you avoid unnecessary damage to the healthy turf underneath.

• 15-inch head with dense 19-tine layout for targeted pulling
• Winged cutting side slices through thick thatch and moss
• Curved side loosens and gathers loosened material quickly
• High-carbon steel tines and two support crossbars for durability

Can I use it for leaves, needles, and general surface cleanup?

Yes—the rake’s flip design gives a gentler curved face ideal for gathering loose debris like leaves and needles without tearing the lawn. Use the curved side for light cleanup and the winged side when debris is compacted or wet.

• Flip to curved side for collecting leaves and clippings
• Winged side clears heavier, compacted material
• Good for spot cleanup along fences, beds, and walkways
• Works well before reseeding or patching dead spots

How adjustable is the handle and head angle for comfortable use?

The telescoping handle assembles from screw-together sections so you can set a working length that fits your height and leverage needs. The head angle is also adjustable so you can switch between aggressive dethatching and flatter, sweeping passes for debris collection.

• Screw-together handle sections up to 70 inches for extended reach
• Remove sections to shorten for compact work or storage
• Head-angle adjustment adapts to tasks and terrain
• Built-in hanging hole for convenient storage

How durable and low-maintenance is the construction?

Made from thickened high-carbon steel with a rust-resistant coating, the rake is designed to withstand seasonal use. Two supporting crossbars reinforce the head while the 1.1-inch heavy-duty steel handle resists bending under normal yard workloads.

• Thickened steel tines resist bending and breakage
• Rust-resistant coating extends outdoor life
• Crossbars add rigidity for pulling tougher thatch
• Take-apart handle for transport and compact storage
