CLXEAST 18" Illuminated Outdoor Atomic Wall Clock — Bronze, IP65 Waterproof, LED Backlight & Temp/Humidity

The CLXEAST 18" illuminated outdoor atomic analog clock is a weatherproof, self-setting timepiece with automatic backlight plus built-in temperature and humidity sensors.

This large 18-inch outdoor wall clock combines atomic timekeeping with a smart LED backlight and rugged IP65 construction, so you get accurate, easy-to-read time and ambient lighting for patios, porches, decks, and pool areas. The clock syncs automatically to the WWVB atomic signal, offers four U.S. time zone settings, and includes a light sensor that turns a warm dial illumination on in low light. It also reports temperature and relative humidity, giving you a quick environmental snapshot without extra devices.

How does the atomic time feature keep the clock accurate?

The clock receives WWVB radio updates from Fort Collins and can set itself to the correct time automatically, including Daylight Saving adjustments when enabled. You can also choose from four U.S. time zone settings to match your location.

• Automatic synchronization with WWVB signal for second-accurate time
• On/off option for atomic updates and Daylight Saving changes
• Four time zone selections: P (PST), M (MST), C (CST), E (EST)
• Simple battery power: 1 AA for clock movement

What does the illuminated backlight do and how is it powered?

A built-in light sensor activates a soft, warm LED backlight when ambient light drops, improving visibility at night without wasting power during daylight. The lighting offers two modes, letting you keep it always on or off to match your preference.

• Automatic on in low light; off in normal daylight
• Two backlight settings: Always On or Always Off
• Backlight powered by 4 D-size batteries (not included), lasting roughly 6–12 months depending on conditions
• Warm, ambient glow that enhances dial readability after dark

Is this clock built to handle outdoor conditions?

Yes—this CLXEAST clock is rated IP65 and constructed with UV-resistant materials and rubberized gaskets to resist rain, splashes, and sun exposure. The sealed design helps protect internal components while maintaining a refined bronze/brown finish suited for outdoor decor.

• IP65-rated: protected against dust and water splashes
• UV-resistant casing and finish to reduce sun fading
• Front and back rubber gaskets for improved sealing
• Suitable for patios, porches, fences, decks, and pool areas

How accurate are the temperature and humidity readings?

The integrated thermometer and hygrometer provide a convenient estimate of ambient conditions, with ranges that cover extreme weather. Allow the sensors about three hours to stabilize after installation for the most reliable readings.

• Temperature range: -40°F to 140°F
• Humidity range: 1% to 99% relative humidity
• Built-in sensors display current ambient readings on the dial
• Allow ~3 hours for sensors to fully acclimate after mounting

Who is this for: The CLXEAST 18" illuminated atomic clock suits homeowners and outdoor entertaining hosts who want low-maintenance, accurate timekeeping with nighttime readability and basic environmental data. It's a practical choice for anyone wanting a durable, weatherproof accent for gardens, patios, pool areas, and porches, and it also makes a distinctive housewarming or holiday gift for people who appreciate functional outdoor décor.
