CHAPIN 48000 is a compact, half-gallon watering can made from 100% recycled polymer and designed for easy indoor and outdoor plant care.

If you tend houseplants, potted herbs, or small garden containers, this watering can offers a small, spill‑friendly capacity that fits under sinks and in cupboards. Built in the USA from recycled materials, it pairs a lightweight black tank with two handles for comfortable carrying and controlled pouring. The large top opening makes filling from a kitchen faucet effortless, and the rust-resistant construction lets you use dilute liquid fertilizers without corrosion worries.

How does the compact size make watering easier?

The 1/2-gallon capacity keeps the can light when full, reducing strain and making it simple to water multiple small pots without overpouring. Its slim profile slides into tight storage spots and clears countertops quickly after use.

• Half-gallon volume for precise, measured watering
• Slim, cupboard-friendly shape fits under most sinks
• Easy to carry between rooms or around a balcony

What features control pouring and filling?

Chapin engineered two handles so you can switch grips for different tasks—use the top handle to transport the can and the side handle to steady it while pouring. The wide top opening accommodates most faucet spouts and makes adding fertilizer mixes straightforward.

• Large filler opening for quick sink refills
• Two-handle design for stable pouring and simple transport
• Molded spout geometry for directed flow with minimal splashing

Is the material durable and safe for fertilizers?

The tank is molded from a chemical- and rust-resistant polymer, so it tolerates dilute liquid fertilizers and everyday water without corroding. Because it’s made from 100% recycled polymer, you get a durable tool with a smaller environmental footprint.

• Recycled polymer construction resists chemicals and rust
• Lightweight yet sturdy for repeated use
• Manufactured in the USA with a 1-year limited warranty
