Cartener Mailbox Flag — Red Replacement for Brick Mailboxes, 3.9 x 2 x 0.5 in, No-Drill Mount

Simple red replacement flag made for brick-embedded mailboxes that mounts in minutes without drilling. If your mailbox is set into a brick pillar, standard replacement flags often won’t fit or require difficult drilling. This Cartener mailbox flag kit was created to attach to the front face of brick-embedded mailboxes quickly and securely, restoring the familiar signal your postal carrier needs to pick up outgoing mail. The piece is injection-molded from durable plastic, brightly colored for high visibility, and supplied with both screws and heavy-duty double-sided tape so you can install it the way that suits your mailbox and pillar.

How does this flag work on a brick-embedded mailbox?

The flag is sized to sit on the exposed front panel of a mailbox set into a brick pillar, avoiding the need to drill into masonry. It swivels to the raised position to signal outgoing mail, then folds down flush when not in use. Hardware included gives two mounting options to match your preferred approach.

• Compact dimensions: 3.9 x 2 x 0.5 inches to fit most brick-faced openings
• Included mounting screws for a secure mechanical attachment
• Heavy-duty double-sided tape for drill-free installation
• Bright red color and an included American flag sticker for clear visibility

What materials and durability can I expect?

The Cartener replacement flag is manufactured from sturdy, non-3D-printed plastic designed to resist daily handling and outdoor exposure. It’s thick enough to hold shape and provide reliable operation through normal use, while remaining lightweight so it won’t stress mailbox surfaces.

• Injection-molded robust plastic construction
• UV-stable red finish for long-term visibility
• Simple pivot mechanism tested for repeated use
• Weather-tolerant for year-round outdoor conditions

How easy is installation and what tools are needed?

Installation takes only a few minutes and can be done with basic tools or no tools at all. Choose screws for a permanent mount or the supplied heavy-duty tape when drilling into brick is impractical. The kit also includes an American flag sticker for added recognition.

• Screw-mount option: small screwdriver and pilot hole recommended
• Tape option: clean surface, press firmly for immediate hold
• Installation time typically under five minutes
• Instructions included with the kit for straightforward setup

Will this flag fit my mailbox and signal clearly to my mail carrier?

The flag’s compact but bright design was chosen to be visible on brick-set mailboxes where factory flags won’t fit. Its height and red coloring provide an unmistakable visual cue for postal workers, helping prevent missed pickups when you have outgoing mail.

• Designed specifically for mailboxes embedded in brick pillars
• Bright red improves contrast against masonry and dark mailbox faces
• Low-profile when lowered so it won’t snag or protrude excessively
• Works with standard mail pickup routines used by carriers

Who is this for Homeowners with mailboxes set inside brick pillars, renters with masonry-mounted mail slots, and anyone who needs a quick, reliable flag replacement without altering brickwork will find this Cartener kit useful. It’s ideal when the original flag is broken, missing, or incompatible with a brick-embedded installation, and for people who prefer a simple, no-fuss mounting option that restores the familiar outgoing-mail signal.
