BN-LINK Pool Pump Timer Wi‑Fi Outdoor 40A 120–277VAC – Smart App & Alexa/Google Voice Control

The BN-LINK Pool Pump Timer is a weatherproof, heavy‑duty Wi‑Fi timer box that remotely schedules and controls pool pumps, heaters, spas and other high‑power outdoor equipment up to 40A (1–2HP motors) across 120–277VAC.

This compact outdoor timer brings smart scheduling and voice control to poolside systems without running new wiring or relying on manual switches. Built to meet UL and CSA timing standards and housed in a durable, weather‑resistant PC shell, the unit supports remote control via the Smart Life app and responds to Alexa and Google Assistant voice commands. It operates on 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi and includes a selection of timing modes to automate equipment run times while offering a physical reset/manual on‑off button for local override.

How does the BN-LINK timer handle heavy pool equipment safely?

The box is designed for high current loads—rated for a 40A resistive load and compatible with motors in the 1–2HP range—while supporting a wide voltage window from 120VAC to 277VAC. That makes it suitable for many pump and heater setups without overloading the relay. The enclosure and components are built to industry timing standards for reliable outdoor use.

• 40 amp resistive capacity and motor support up to 2HP
• Works across 120–277VAC systems for flexible installation
• UL 60730‑1 and CSA E60730‑1 compliant components
• Rugged PC case with anti‑oxidation and water‑resistant properties

What smart features let me control my pool from anywhere?

Connect the timer to a 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi network and use the Smart Life app to schedule, start, or stop equipment remotely. The device also integrates with Alexa and Google Assistant for hands‑free voice commands, and app settings can be shared with family members for joint control. Note that 5 GHz networks are not supported.

• Remote on/off and scheduling from Smart Life app
• Voice control compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant
• App sharing for multiple household users
• Requires 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi; no 5 GHz support

Which timing modes are available and how do they help reduce energy waste?

The timer offers multiple modes—countdown, repeat, and random—to match different operation needs, from precise maintenance cycles to staggered runtimes that can reduce peak loads. These flexible options allow you to run pumps, heaters, or fans only when needed, helping you manage runtime and energy use without constant supervision.

• Countdown for fixed-duration runs
• Repeat scheduling for daily or routine cycles
• Random mode to avoid predictable runtimes when desired
• Manual override via the reset/ON‑OFF button with indicator light

The unit is engineered for outdoor durability with an operating temperature range from -40°F to 130°F, making it suitable for year‑round pool and spa control in most climates. The instruction manual walks through installation and wiring diagrams for common load types, and BN‑LINK provides customer support plus a 12‑month warranty and response promise within 24 hours for technical questions.

Who is this for? The BN-LINK Pool Pump Timer is ideal for pool and spa owners, pool service professionals, and homeowners who want a rugged, code‑aware solution to automate high‑current outdoor equipment. It’s particularly useful for those who need Wi‑Fi and voice control for pumps, water heaters, circulation fans, or spa systems without replacing existing electrical infrastructure.
