Avant Grub Pumice Grill Bricks 4-Pack — Commercial Heavy-Duty, Safe on Flat-Top Grills

If you run a restaurant, food truck, or busy home kitchen, keeping a flat-top grill clean fast is essential. These Avant Grub grill bricks are made from natural pumice shaped for handheld use and designed to remove carbon, grease, and stuck-on food without rust, wire splinters, or harsh cleaning agents. Use them hot or warm with a splash of water or club soda to restore cooking surfaces quickly and safely.

How do these pumice grill bricks clean a flat-top without damaging the surface?

The pumice material provides a mild abrasive action that scrapes away burnt deposits while being softer than metal tools that can leave scratches or metal shards. Because they are stone-based, they won’t shed bristles or rust, and they work on both cold and warmed griddles.

• Mild abrasive pumice lifts carbon and grease without gouging stainless steel.
• Leaves no metal fragments that could contaminate food.
• Safe to use on hot surfaces—no flammable chemicals required.

What’s the easiest way to use an Avant Grub grill brick during service?

For quick turnaround cleaning, wet the grill with warm water or club soda, press the flat side of the brick against the surface with light pressure, then sweep residue away and rinse the area. The compact shape fits comfortably in a hand for targeted scrubbing between orders.

• Apply a small amount of warm water or soda to loosen deposits.
• Scrub with even, gentle strokes; avoid heavy gouging motions.
• Wipe or rinse leftover stone dust before cooking resumes.

Will pumice dust or stone affect food safety or flavor?

Avant Grub pumice is made from 100% non-toxic materials; any tiny stone particles are inert and not chemically harmful. A faint sulfur-like aroma sometimes occurs when pumice contacts a very hot surface, but it dissipates quickly and does not indicate contamination.

• No chemical residues to alter food flavor.
• Non-toxic stone particles—rinse surface if visible dust appears.
• Normal transient odor is harmless and short-lived.

How long do these grill bricks last and how do I maintain them?

Each commercial-grade brick is durable for repeated use in high-volume kitchens when used properly—avoid dropping or striking against hard metal. Between uses, store in a dry place; if the brick sheds a little surface dust, simply rinse before the next use.

• Durable construction for frequent commercial use.
• Store dry to prevent premature breakdown.
• Rinse or wipe off excess stone dust after cleaning cycles.
