Artpuch 16'x20' Rectangle Sun Shade Sail — Sand UV-Resistant, Breathable HDPE Canopy

The Artpuch 16' x 20' sand rectangle sun shade sail is a breathable, UV-resistant canopy designed to block up to 95% of harmful sun rays while keeping outdoor spaces cooler and comfortable.

Built from high-density polyethylene fabric infused with UV-stable particles and fitted with corrosion-resistant stainless steel D-rings, this rectangular shade sail offers durable sun protection for patios, pools, decks, and other outdoor areas. It balances sun-blocking performance with airflow to reduce heat buildup, and its neutral sand color blends into most landscapes and outdoor décors.

How much sun protection does the shade sail provide?

This Artpuch sail is engineered to reduce UV exposure significantly; the fabric contains UV-resistant additives so it can block most ultraviolet rays while allowing light diffusion. It doesn't provide complete sunproofing but meaningfully lowers direct sun intensity and heat.

• Fabric blocks up to 95% of UV rays under standard testing conditions.
• HDPE weave disperses sunlight rather than fully darkening the area.
• Stainless steel D-rings maintain shape and anchor points for steady protection.

Will the sail stay secure in wind and rainy weather?

The sail's breathable knit allows air to pass through, reducing wind load and helping prevent water accumulation. For best performance, mount the sail at a slight angle to encourage runoff and reduce stress on attachment points.

• Permeable HDPE weave lowers wind resistance compared to solid tarps.
• Recommended 30° installation angle to avoid water pooling and strain.
• Durable stainless-steel D-rings resist corrosion where exposed to moisture.

Can I customize the size or fit of this shade sail?

Artpuch offers custom sizing to match patios, balconies, carports, and other irregular spaces—just supply your measurements to get a tailored sail. Keep in mind the finished product may deviate by a few inches; allow room for attachment hardware when measuring.

• Custom sizing available to fit small balconies or large backyard areas.
• Measure the stretched distance between D-rings and add 1.5–2 ft for hardware.
• Manufacturing tolerance: approx. ±4 inches on final dimensions.

What installation accessories do I need and are they included?

The shade sail ships without a hardware kit so you can choose anchors suited to your mounting surface. Select robust fixtures rated for outdoor use—appropriate anchors improve safety and extend the sail's life.

• Hardware kit sold separately to match wood, masonry, or metal mounting points.
• Use stainless-steel turnbuckles or exterior-rated snap hooks for reliable tensioning.
• Ensure anchor points can handle dynamic loads from wind and movement.

Who is this for? The Artpuch 16' x 20' sand rectangle sun shade sail is a good choice for homeowners and outdoor designers who want substantial UV reduction without sacrificing airflow—ideal for patios, poolside lounges, pergolas, play areas, and commercial outdoor seating. It's suited to people who prefer a neutral, unobtrusive color and need a long-lasting fabric solution; pair it with a separate hardware kit chosen for your mounting surfaces to achieve a secure, angled installation.
