The trap fits most standard 5‑gallon buckets (bucket not included) and uses a metal roller and screw assembly to activate a flip-and-slide mechanism that deposits rodents into the bucket. It’s designed to reduce mess and simplify monitoring by allowing multiple captures between checks.

How does the automatic reset mechanism work?

The trap uses a reinforced metal roller mounted to the lid; when an animal crosses the roller it triggers the flip-and-slide plate so the rodent falls into the bucket below. After the plate clears, the mechanism returns to the set position, ready for another catch without manual resetting.

Metal roller and screw assembly for consistent activation

Flip-and-slide plate resets automatically after each capture

Reliable performance for multiple sequential catches

Is this safe to use around pets and children?

This trap is a non-electrical, mechanical device that avoids sticky glue and high-force spring snaps, lowering the risk of accidental injury to curious pets and children. Proper placement and routine checks are still important to maintain safety and hygiene.

No electricity, poison, or adhesive required

Mount on a 5‑gallon bucket and position out of reach of pets and kids

Reusable design minimizes contaminated disposal materials

How many rodents can one lid handle before maintenance?

The Vboergs lid is engineered as a multi-catch solution: it can hold several mice and multiple medium-sized rats in a single bucket, reducing the need for frequent trips to empty it. Capacity depends on bucket size and local rodent sizes, but the mechanism supports several sequential captures without failure.

Holds multiple small rodents per 5‑gallon bucket

Designed for repeated catches with minimal maintenance

Easy to clean and sanitize for continued reuse

What makes this an upgrade over plastic lid traps?

Vboergs replaced weak plastic pivots with a reinforced metal roller and a sturdy screw assembly to improve reliability and lifespan.
